I love the app but on my 15 pro max, as I Zoom in the camera glitches between lenses and it doesn't appear to show it zooming in anymore yet when I replay the video it DID in fact zoom actually all the way, please fix 🙌🏽 and definitely needs a Flash option suprised there isn't.
  • Not really for pro res

Using with iphone 16 pro, not old one!, it can record inly 3 min of pro res footage, maybe because of storage, internal, not speedy enough to write data. Cheap apple phone 🤣
  • Garbage app,garbage Apple

This is actually an Apple-developed app? On my iPhone 15 Pro Max, since its launch, I've encountered constant bugs! When returning to the camera interface after reviewing footage, all parameters reset randomly: stabilization disables itself, peak focusing turns off, 60fps drops to 30fps, Log profile switches to HDR mode, LUTs fail to load. The worst part is the alarming frequency - 50% occurrence rate! You rushed this half-baked product to compete with Blackmagic's apps, ultimately misleading users. It's severely impacted my commercial projects, even casting doubt on my professionalism. Don't deflect by saying "real professionals use DSLRs/cinema cameras" - even casual users wouldn't tolerate such app performance. Take it down immediately. Relaunch only when optimized. I've lost faith to the point of abandoning FCPX altogether. Apple's ecosystem is becoming profoundly disappointing.
  • Works great, but settings don’t save.

This camera app works very well, and I find the zoom slider to be useful as well. My issue is that after a couple of days of not using the app, all of my settings are reset. This includes the resolution, grid overlay, stabilization, and everything else that’s able to be changed in its settings.
  • Can’t delete files

Love the app, but you can’t delete the files without going into 30 delete folder. Only problem is I can’t access that, so large file sizes bog down phone.
  • Simple is great

I often shoot with a client that likes to get b-roll on his phone. The simplicity of this app is perfect for him; I just set it to manual shutter and he’s good to go. I’d love to see: -support for the 48mm lens -ProRes LT recording -stronger stabilization options, like the Blackmagic app Also there’s a bug I’ve noticed where it says I’m out of space even though the settings app says otherwise. Unclear which is true.
  • Please, Please, Please Rename the App

I’ve just downloaded this app and I really like it but my OCD can’t stand that it’s named FinalCutCamera (without spacing) before I open it. Could you go with something like FC Camera or FCC? I will change it to 5 stars if you do it, I promise.
  • Amazing App missing important features

The app is great I can have more granular controls with the camera. But the fact that we can’t map the camera control button to quickly open the app or use the camera control in the app in general for a first party app is beyond me. Besides this fact the app is great for creatives that shot photo and video on the iPhone!
