Now you can contribute to groundbreaking health research in women’s health, hearing health or heart health simply by using your Apple Watch and iPhone, and the Research app. Your data and participation will help advance researchers' understanding of these areas in health that have not been well understood until now and could lead to the development of new products that will help millions lead longer and healthier lives. 1. Join the Apple Women’s Health Study, conducted in partnership with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and National Institue of Health Sciences to help advance the understanding of menstrual cycles and health conditions such as infertility, osteoporosis, and menopause. 2. Join the Apple Heart and Movement Study, conducted in partnership with the American Heart Association and Brigham and Women's Hospital to help advance discovery in heart science and to help us learn how activity and your habits can contribute to a healthier heart. 3. Join the Apple Hearing Study, conducted in partnership with the University of Michigan to help advance the understanding of how sound exposure levels over time can impact your hearing, stress levels, and cardiac health. Features: Review available studies, learn about the research partners and the research goals, understand study expectations, and if you are eligible, enroll by providing your consent. Choose which data to share and with what study, and review and manage data collected. Perform relevant tasks for enrolled studies. What are the chances people could get paid to share feedback, stats and or bio info. I want to help but completing hear take time which is valuable to me.
  • Transferring Studies Broken

When you’re setting up a new phone and it prompts you to transfer your studies to your new device, it freezes at 40%. Other reviewers report the same issue, Apple fix this!!
  • What about older women?

Hey - 54 y.o. woman here and I understand how important it is to have your health app and the research app work well to collect data except you left out an entire group of people - peri-menopausal and post menopausal women. I’m quite adept with my phone, as are many of my friends. If you want accurate data, put ALL the possible choices in. I see you got all the non-binary and trans people in there pretty quickly. I think you can do the same for older women. We don’t have our periods forever (thank God). Our bodies change. Or else limit your data collection to women who are still menstruating.

It’s a pleasure for me to participate in those studies. I always have fun doing them and when keynotes arrive, I enjoy watching sections where mentioned health part, new sensor, studies specifically for Apple Watch. I strongly think those results got a lot to do with the improvements of the products that k enjoy daily. I encourage it also for the good for everyone else in the world, specially the Apple fans like me. Keep improving
  • Access to young adults

I think the idea of this app is great but my issue with it is that there isn’t anything to participate in if you are under the age of 18 presumably and I think that it is annoying not being able to contribute to any studies.
  • Compensation For Applicants

    1
    By David Orland Brown
ALL people participating in these GARGANTUAN gathering pursuits should be fiducially compensated for their EXTREMELY confidential, robust and valuable data. I love Apple’s Health, Fitness & Biometrics tracking but REFUSE to re-download this until SOME form of transparency, access and compensation and will instill I all know to do the same. Sincerely, David Orland Brown
  • Unable to transfer studies to a new phone

I recently set up a new phone and was prompted to transfer studies from iCloud. The transfer progress indicator starts at 25%, then quickly jumps to 40% and sticks there. Eventually times out and suggests there is a network issue. Having tried multiple networks with the same result, this is clearly an issue with the app. Please fix this, Apple!
  • Recently crashes

So I love the idea of using data to advance science. But recently if I go to fill out a survey(monthly update) it crashes. Would really give it 5 stars for ease of use and transparency in how my data is used, but the crashing is annoying.

Go to answer the Monthly Survey, app crashes when clicking NEXT on question 2. Edit: Second month now this has happened. *All other surveys and tasks have worked fine*

Keeps crashing and has been like this for a while now but only for answering the menstrual questions. Gets to the second question and crashes. And it’s impossible to get app support for it. Why?
