This happens continually. After messing with it and rebooting my M4 iPad Pro eventually things will work, but it takes at least 90 minutes of messing around, which I don’t have.
  • Missing features but pretty good

Really wish you could add more transitions and effects, and that it wouldn’t crash randomly, but overall it’s pretty fun to work with. I assume more stuff will be coming soon! Really dig it
  • No Selection on Playhead or clip Stabilization, no adjustment clip, no basic tracker, no audio cross

(V2 Update Review: THIS DOESNT HAVE AN ADJUSTMENT CLIP OR CROSSFADE OR A BASIC TRACKER). INSANE THAT THIS IS A PAYABLE APP.) The fact that you can’t edit with your keyboard while on the timeline without having to tap on the screen on every clip individually and to top it off not having clip stabilization makes this an unusable editing experience for me. I cannot comprehend how these decisions were made. I wish I didn’t subscribe for the year. This isn’t something that should be resolved in some future update. Clip selection on playhead and stabilization needs to be added NOW.
  • Great almost professional tool

For some things I prefer the iPad to desktop version. Some of the things that bug are just reimagining workflows for the new interface etc. The biggest gripe is no support for flac. It’s well-entrenched by now it seems an embarrassment to consider your app a professional tool without such basic support.

The app does not support clip duplication so I can’t use my normal workflow where I use a single 6K camera, punched into a close for the second angle. The only way to make it work is to make a second copy of the media and double the storage size of the project. Also does not allow pasting attributes to multiple clips so color correction and many other operations are tedious. Audio has to be synced with multicam clips. Honestly it feels like the developers do not have anyone who actually uses this software on their staff. I pretty much hate it a lot. I wish I had a better option. Too many essential features have been stripped out. It’s nearly useless. For me the only real use for this software is to start projects on the go that I will finish later on my desktop. If I can’t use the same basic workflows, then it’s worthless. All that said, it does run very smoothly on my M4 iPad, even with 6K 422 footage.

I used the app, it was good, its missing things like stabilize shaky videos, seems like that should be available. Today i was using the app and it crashed, My iPad model is iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) with 1TB. I lost like 2 hrs of work, i then finished the video again and right when i was adding the last clip it crashed again and I lost half my work, I had to redo my work again.

This is the best video editor for iPad and works beautifully on the the M4 iPad Pro… until it doesn’t. Sometimes imported media won’t even play. Clip synchronization typically stalls out at 20% or 60% and will never move. And you have to just click off of it and keep editing. If a project fails to import, that footage will never EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER be able to be deleted and imported again into Final Cut. You will need to go over to a Mac and pretend that this device and software doesn’t exist. I have currently edited over 97 large scale projects on this device and this is my experience. I wish it would be fixed.
