Its 2024. Do I as the consumer really have to tell you to add a shuffle feature for music? I don’t care about your “Apple terminology” of belief. Give me the full music experience

The app keeps pausing and skipping music for no reason, or not working altogether today!

I appreciate the ability to browse by performer, composer, genre, etc. CarPlay support is great too! But please allow downloads in this app in addition to the Apple music app.

  • Why?

This app is a great idea in my opinion, but I found a big bug. :( For me, this app won’t play anything unless regular Apple Music is installed on the device… so why do we need two separate apps? I get that most people would already have regular Apple Music already, but some of us might have deleted it and gotten something else like Spotify or Pandora. Or we just didn’t want any Apple Music at all. But seriously, there’s almost no reason to have to separate apps if you have to have Apple Music installed, which you can find everything on there already.
  • It’s just western.

I love western music, and this app is truly a blast to use finding and discovering works plus cataloguing them for easier listening. The standard Apple Music app doesn’t do many favors for classical music, whereas this app allows you to find specific recordings of specific pieces by specific performers. It’s really a godsend by that regard Unfortunately, there is a whole entire rest of the planet that is extremely underrepresented in the search features. It is trivial to find any work by any western composer, from Glass to Mozart to whoever else. But there are no tabs for non-western music to be found at all. No playlists, no editor’s choices, nothing. Like, there’s a whole world out there. Who is this for? Old washed up music teachers that refuse to acknowledge the world beyond Europe? A lot of people, of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds, upbringings, and cultures, listen to “classical” music. To leave out the entirety of the rest of the world is a crime.

Can’t search for albums in my library?? Queuing is impossible. Nearly unusable as an app.

  • Shuffle Option

I see how this app makes sense, but please, for all that is holy, give us a shuffle button option like we have in the Apple Music App. When I want to list to an Apple Classical playlist I don’t always want to hear it in the same order. Thanks
  • I want this to be a separate, cheaper subscription

I use the Classical app a lot but don’t want to pay for the whole Apple Music subscription, since I don’t use that much. Why not creat a classical-only subscription at a lower price?
