Aside from all the sync errors, I do enjoy the work space and the ability to add sections, pages and information.

Simply the best app I’ve found for saving notes and documents for future reference, with a search function that works very well.

This version does not have sub pages available. There is only pages under each notebook
  • I hate popups

Love the program but hate nag screens that ask to write a review so here it is. I do this for all that ask. I also think paid subscriptions for software is wrong also and think there should be a boycott or at least an option for a lifetime purchase. I avoid anything with a subscription that is not based on new information for the software. It’s like renting a library book or my toaster.

  • MSFT Sign in AUTHENTICATION is the worst

I really used to like OneNote. I migrated my entire team six years ago from Evernote when it was starting to show signs of instability. Initially it was the right move, even though shared notebooks were super clumsy in OneNote. Since then, it has went quickly downhill. The issues? Notebooks NEVER stays sync’d. It constantly is asking me to login to restore syncing on my notebooks, often two or three times in a row, until it starts working again. The plugin “send to onenote” from Outlook won’t sign in most of the time and it generally has just has HORRIBLE authentication. It is so bad, I have almost wholesale switched to Google Apps. They aren’t as capable as MSFT, but they work and are free. I am giving OneNote one more release for Mac, then I am gone for good.

I have a pc desktop, I use my Mac when I’m out and about. Mac Onenote is trash and I had to install a virtual machine just to get usable Onenote on my Mac.

Won't launch - says it can't set up notebook. What's worse is the micro-soft help desk is the most pathetic help desk experience I've ever encountered (and that's saying something, Direct TV, Xfinity). Their auto-bots are worthless and you can't talk to a human. Waste of $'s and time. Good bye One-Note - will never use you again!
