    The app works well when it actually loads. However, sometimes it gets stuck and freezes. A simple force quit doesn’t work for this app — I have to restart the computer. Extremely annoying

    Disco-nnect party that is. For no reason, while working on the remote computer, this app will mostly malfunction, pause for 30 seconds to a minute, and then promptly disconnect the remote session. I know it is the app, because to resume it merely takes a re-connection and you are immediately back in. So annoying.

  • Constantly disconnects—use the Web Version

    This app experience is terrible. It's constantly disconnecting, reconnecting, rebooting, etc. When the connection is closed or your laptop is hibernated, the window closes entirely. I have coworkers who use the older Remote Desktop app, and they say it works flawlessly. I however can't download it as it's now been discontinued in favor of this app. The web app version of this (Windows365) is much more consistent, faster to reconnect, and supports all of the same functionality, just better. It also doesn't close out on me constantly, and when I need to reconnect, it does so fast. Developers of this app: please work on this. I want the native experience to be just as good as the web app version—specifically because Microsoft IS ALSO GOING TO DISCONTINUE THAT NOW AS WELL... Old products should be discontinued in favor of better, more complete products. NOT HALF BAKED PRODUCTS.

    This app is basically trash and is not a replacement for the old RDM. I would not even bother using the Mac Version. Most the time you cannot get it out of full screen mode, often the mouse pointer gets offset, managing screen resolutions is a joke. I am a firm believer that if you are going to offer something that does not work just don’t. Its embarrassing!

    My VCM is constantly interrupted. It’s hard to maintain the connection and get anything done while using the VCM. I did not have this issue with the previous app.

    For those times that I need to interact with a Windows host, this app is great. The resize option to dynamically change resolutions and accessing mounted devices through RDP help with these workflows.

  • Surprise: Another garbage app from Microsoft!

    By Why do I need a nickname????
    I run 3 monitors and full screen this app on all. When the computer sleeps and then wakes up, all 3 Windows screens are smushed into one. Never happened before this “upgrade”. Yet ANOTHER Microsoft fail.
