I have been using Excel since the 1980’s. Excel remains the standard for its utility and flexibility.

  • Why was 2011 Version better?

I’ve been using Excel for years, why were so many changes made to an app that was otherwise already perfect? How you enter formulas, you can’t color a cell if the equation is open, how the cursor moves around the spreadsheet constantly accidentally moving cells you didn’t intend, constant delay when scrolling on the spreadsheet where the window will go blank, opening older spreadsheets now a nightmare as fonts and print areas are broken. What ever decisions you have been making with this app, please stop listening to this person and go back to who developed this software from 2011 and before…
  • Too many updates

I use a lot of different apps and leave a lot of them open when my computer is not in use. I will never understand how an app like Excel would need to be updated weekly or sometimes even more. Maybe save some ideas for a future update and knock all the ideas out on one large update. This was my opinion a long time ago. It's still my opinion.

After Microsoft Access, my favorite office program is Excel 365, It is extremely functional for lists like contacts, data storage regarding food values, finance data analysis, lists of movies, books, plays, authors, musicians, events, etc, etc. It’s valuable to record data of all kinds and to analyze that data with pivot tables, and to connect with 100o’s of websites across the internet, now capable of 256 columns and millions of rows of data. I use it for everything from groceries, contacts, health history, medications, downloading financial data from savings accounts, checking accounts, credit card data, and brokerage investments data. Just to name a few of its valuable features. cial

Everything about microsoft is so intrusive. Asking for a review every time I open the program. The whole OneDrive thing you’ll find out you’ve been saving there and you didn’t even know it.
