  • Full access to photos

I refuse to give any app full access to all my photos. Never trust a company that requires it.
  • Requires access to ALL your photos

This app used to allow you to only share selected photos, but now requires your full photo library to be shared with the company before using any features. No thanks, I care about my privacy.
  • A photo editing app should not need full photo access

There’s no good reason for a photo editing app to require access to all photos in order to function, when the OS supports selective access. If Google can explain why I need to give access to my 5000+ photos in order to edit a single photo for the family group chat, I’ll happily change my rating.
  • Weird Update

Not sure why they felt the need to change everything with the latest update. Way less features & far less intuitive - probably won’t be my go to app anymore

This was my go to app for photo editing many years. The latest update requires giving the app full access to photos, whereas the previous version respected the iOS photos “limited access” feature. I will not be giving Google full access to my photos and I will no longer be using this app unless this is changed. I’m disappointed but not surprised by this move by Google. I regret updating and wish Apple would allow its iOS users to choose which version of apps to run like it does on macOS instead of forcing users to keep the current version after updating. I appreciate the many years I was able to use this free app. Thanks and so long.
  • Full access to camera roll required to use app

App wont function without full access to camera roll, selective photo access isn’t enough. Terrible user experience. Deleted.

The new redesign is refreshing. I’ve been using this app since it came out. Love it. Always my go to. One thing… on the iPad can you add screen rotation so it can be used in landscape mode?

This is absolutely the best this app has ever been. This is such a great update. I don't need any other photo app on my iPad. I've been a very long time user of Snapseed and my only wish is that there was a Mac version available again.
