  • Won’t show exercise data

The app will no longer show the data it collects from my Fitbit. I get summary information in weekly emails, so it appears to still be collecting the data.
  • Sleep Tracking Has Become Useless

Don’t know what you changed in the update done prior to this one but it has destroyed my ability to gather any useful information on my nightly sleep patterns. It had always done a good job. Not so anymore.
  • Family Profiles getting stuck

I’ve had multiple issues with my family profiles either not being available (my family did not show; I given a prompt to start a family, but if I clicked it told me I already had a family). That spontaneously resolved after about a week. Now I am stuck in one of my children’s profiles, and unable to switch back. Since Google has discontinued support for the web dashboard, I have no back up, and so it has been several days since I have been able to get to my account. App support is working to figure out what the problem is; but since the kid profiles are less connected (a good thing!) I can not reach out through the app and the support team doesn’t seem to know what options are and are not available in the kid profile and kept directing me to try menus that were not available in the kid profiles (and again, I can not switch). Google is failing to demonstrate the intuitive interface that once made it a leader in web applications.
  • Many iOS app problems

numerous issues that Fitbit/ Google just not addressing. 1 The circle graph on today page when tapped takes you to a circle graph and bar graph showing only about 2/3 the distance. 2 The exercise category zone minutes show actual minutes not zone minutes. 3 Unable to edit the exercise category to list personal exercises. Fitbit/Google customer service is the worst. I wonder why Apple even allows this app.
  • Features removed…

Use to be great.. but a whole lot of features have been removed. Kind of sad to be honest. Can’t even use it to track calories because the goal won’t change… Website says I need to desync from other devices and reinstall. Tried all that. No matter happens the goal is set back to my static calories. My guess is when they removed the website they kept the data so we wouldn’t lose it all. But we have no way of changing our goals if we used the weight based deficit goal before. Oh well. I guess I’ll just use an Apple Watch and my fitness pal now..

It worked for a while and then stopped.
  • What happened?

The app/Charge 6 watch has so many inaccuracies now. I’ve had a Fitbit for at least 6 years. It’s all messed up now. Doesn’t track miles, floors, avg pace accurately and is way off. I no longer trust any of the data I get from it. They’ve done several updates in the last 90 days and none is fixing the issues. Google has really degraded the quality of this product.
  • Why did Fitbit ruin the UI?

    3
    By Gem4622
I’ve been using Fitbit since 2013. It’s been great for tracking my activities, calories, etc. Recently it forced me to update the app and now the UI looks like a first grader designed it. It looks like a paper napkin sketch! It was much easier to find things when it had color and icons that popped. The colors it had before made you happy and motivated me. Now it just feels sad to look at it. Generally, still happy with the tools but please fix the UI!
  • Loses Workout Data

The Fitbit is losing workout data. It tracks it but then it is randomly deleted months, weeks and sometimes days later. This has been an ongoing issue that Google is aware of. It is either intentional or proof that Google does not care. DO NOT BUY FITBIT OR GOOGLE FOR FITNESS TRACKING.
