You need someone or team to overall test and walk through this. Some features on the watch are ‘tap’ to advance, some ‘swipe’ to advance, some up/down but others (exercise) go left right, some you have to ‘accept’ others automatic, some things have to be done on both the app and watch, somethings the app and watch cannot communicate on. Some things the app used to do and now can’t—but the watch can’t do them either. Let me guess: two different teams not allowed to communicate with each other? You probably outsourced this. You either don’t have a team to walk through the finished product to make sure it flows, is consistent and works. Or you aren’t managing your contractors properly and taking their word it’s awesome. It’s not. That’s all these complaints in the reviews. Manage your contractors.
  • Doesn’t sync to Apple Health

I only bought the Fitbit device to track my heart rate. The device is OK but this app is not. It does sync and show my heart rate but not sync it to Apple Health. It should. You’re required to use this app to see your data on phone. 3rd party sync apps are expensive. Frustrating.

  • A great alternative to the Apple Watch

My Fitbit Versa 4 was a great experience while it lasted. I wanted a fitness watch, at the time, that was cost friendly, but also top tier for what a fitness watch is supposed to be. This checked all those boxes. The only reason I am deleting this app and getting rid of my Fitbit is because I am now moving onto the Apple Watch. If the time comes, I definitely will come back to the Fitbit Watch and redownload the app.

  • App updates remove useful information

    By thhpth
Regular updates have removed information provided in prior versions such as the ability to look at daily resting heart rate over durations longer than 1 month and limited only to calendar month and week so that the display is useless at the start and early for every week/month. Monthly view of days exercised was lost March 2025. Google's App developers don't know the value of the information and make changes for asthetic reasons, forcing all displays into a standard format regardless of the data. It has been downhill since Google acquired Fitbit.

My Fitbit is losing its mind. Not sure what happened but all of a sudden it is not working.
