This has been on and off matter with Google voice that when I call overseas people can’t hear me while I can hear them clearly. This is really annoying.

I can’t sign in. All it says is “something went wrong”.

I’ve been using Google Voice for years and have had zero issues at all with it for my Android phone. Works great on my new iPhone as well.. with one big exception. There is no way to set custom ringtones or sounds for calls/messages! It just uses the generic system notification for text messages. Would be nice if we could add custom sounds like in the Android version.

Do not use Google voice for your business. I get constant spam calls every hour of every day from random fake numbers that all leave the same message about “optimizing your listing”.

It’s unreasonable that you can’t use your phone number to get a new google voice number if your old one has expired and you’ve missed the deadline to reclaim it. Supposedly you can use another number to create a new voice number and then switch out that number for yours, but now that number is no longer eligible for a voice number. Instead of blocking the numbers permanently, maybe switch it to a time frame if you’re worried about people abusing it. I had no idea that I would not be able to get a new voice number when I let it expire. It just seems ridiculous that once you lose it, that’s it. You can never have a google voice number ever again.

Where did the option to block go? Update: So, now you need to hold on the spam number that called for a sec and then it will expand and other options such as block and mark as spam appear. This UI design is terrible because users assume that they are calling said number when pressing on the number. Guess some bored engineers at GV decided to have a laugh at users expense
