  • Watch is great, app stinks

The main thing I got this watch and app was to communicate with my kid. If I get a notification that I got a message I can’t click the notification or it takes me to app messages and loads for 10 minutes without showing me anything. I then have to close the app and reopen it then go to drop down menu, messages, then my kids name. It doesn’t sound like a lot but it gets really annoying.
  • Doesn’t Work!

We bought this watch for our 10 year old daughter. Two weeks ago, the watch stopped receiving messages from us. She can send messages but not receive them. We contacted tech support and were advised we had to factory reset the watch and download a new eSIM. It solved the problem but now the same issue is occurring. We should not have to factory reset the watch every 2 weeks in order for it to work properly! It takes 2 hours on the phone to get them to reset the eSIM and she loses all data on the watch each time it happens. Waste of money!
  • Waiting for update to fix glitches

At first this worked great. Then after about a week we were unable to text or call the watch. The watch can text and call out still but cannot receive either. Luckily the location service still works. Hoping for an update that will address this issue. If the watch was not free I would be asking for a refund.

Kiddo stopped receiving all texts from us. App glitches and is slow to update. I’d be hesitant to use this in case of an emergency. I think you’d be better off with a flip phone.
  • Great services but a bit buggy

I like the services that this app provides; however, the app developers need to work out some kinks. I frequently need to close out the application to enable any new messages to come in. Usually when I come back to the app to view new messages it gets stuck with a spinning circle trying to update them, which makes viewing them quite the hassle over time.

Easy to use, but it freezes up. I have to reboot my phone to reset the app.

Bought my son an amigo watch. This app is very slow and needs force quit quite often which makes responding to my son very time consuming. I really hope they update this app to be more efficient.
  • Doesn’t update location for amigo watch

Had high hopes this would work as well as Verizon’s gizmo watch but so far it has not been even close. The app is very slow to update locations and a lot of times it doesn’t update at all. I have to restart the watch to get the location to “refresh” in the app several times which is frustrating and inconvenient. AT&T needs to study how Verizon does so well with the gizmo watch to then apply it to their own app and hardware. Disappointing overall and poorly executed.
  • Need this too work on Apple Watch

Need this to work on Apple Watch please. Some of us don’t always carry our phones so it would be wonderful to be able to at least message our kids amigo devices from our watches. Otherwise so far it seems to be a good app.
