There are better apps where you can start editing photos right away because they are self explanatory. This one, you have to channel the app creators trying to understand the little icons and what they can possibly do.

Even after the updates, it freezes when editing and then closes

This has been a go-to app for me when I want a quick edit, but could a brother get a thought bubble in the text tool? Thanks!

I’ve use this app for several years and it has done the job. But now all of the sudden every time I try to open the app and add a picture to edit the app automatically shuts down. I have checked my iPad for storage issues and I can find nothing. This is very disheartening and I will be switching to Lightroom.
  • Love it, but it has big issues

I have had issues for a very long time with getting the app to respond and load an image. Sometimes it doesn’t load it at all. I have tried deleting and re-installing, but that didn’t help. Very frustrating since I use it all the time. I’m using an iPad Pro (first gen) and usually have no problem with other apps. It’s a great app and I’d hate to have to stop using it. The problem seems to be worse than it was a year ago.
  • Discovered Snapseed a decade ago and it's still my photo editing app of choice

I have used Snapseed for a decade now to edit photos taken on my iPhone. It has every feature I need. I especially enjoy the Curves feature to adjust the curves. I like the fact that it comes with some pre-built curves for inspiration. I usually do custom curves adjustment but the pre-built ones are a great starting point. I highly appreciate the fact that photo edits are non-destructive. Even after saving the photo, I can always revert or go back to the app to change my edits.
  • What happened to Snapseed?

What happened to Snapseed? The export options changed from three options to two. More significantly, the edits are not being saved. This is very problematic. Deleting the app and reinstalling it has not helped. Upgrading to IOS18.1 has not helped. Any suggestions?

Used to love this app. Was great when I needed to edit on the fly. Now…sad to see it relegated to the metaphorical trash can of forgotten & neglected apps. Yeah.
