Lord forbid you change networks, I literally cannot connect back to my fire TV, I’ve logged out my account, logged in, restarted my Fire TV, turned it off and on, and yes they are on the same WiFi network

Not sure if it’s my tv, stick or phone. But it sometimes gets stuck going down after pressing the down arrow. I, then have to restart the app. Otherwise 5 star. Wish they could add a volume to the app.

When it works it’s great. Frequently it struggles to connect to the TV. I suspect if it used Bluetooth rather than the WiFi it would be better.

It’s great I could control my TV so if I lose the remote, I could use my phone
  • Constantly fails

Constantly fails to connect, remote app loses connectivity all the time, replacement remotes won’t sync. It’s just bad technology. Need to have physical remote to connect to new WiFi locations and then it is irrelevant if you prefer to use the phone app… not well thought out.
