Don’t understand why the app continually changes while reading the day’s news. It continually returns to the lead article and then switches to the previous days news. Frustrating to say the least.

No matter where I travel, I turn to the DETROIT News to stay current with my local news. Government, business, and sports coverage is great.

Great for anxiety. I post my personal feelings here.

App would randomly display resubscribe page with no way to close. Closing the app and reopening was the only fix I have found.
  • Red Screen is annoying

I’ve used this app for years and always paid for the subscription. A few months ago they started using a red screen redirecting your attention. It happens every time I open the app and try to read a story. I pay for the stories and want the freedom to choose what I want to read. I don’t need an app “take over” that I need to click through. Other than that completely annoying feature of a subscription app, it’s a fine. That one feature and the inability to turn it off causes me to rate this app one star.
  • Biased newspaper not real news.

The Detroit News app makes my day. Its format is completely convenient and content is complete. I can't believe this is offered for free. I am concerned that with the cutbacks recently announced by The News, that this service may be reduced or eliminated. This is the first thing I go to every morning. Please keep it up!

Renewed digital subscription. Will tell me their default settings but won’t allow me to change them. Same situation applies to selling my personal data settings. May cancel if I can’t get it corrected with a phone call.
