I did not like the other enewspaper app before this one as advertisements kept popping up and I pay a monthly subscription for the news paper. This one doesn’t do that.

Plenty of coverage concerning Ukraine. Very little concerning positive events, and or recent developments in Africa.
  • Cannot download in iPad app now

Starting today (April 16, 2025), the app does not provide a way to download the eNewspaper to my iPad. The modes for reading the paper on the iPad seem to work OK, but downloading it to iCloud permitted me to control how long I could access old editions. Please bring back the ability to download the complete edition to iCloud.

I have heard people denigrate the News Journal and certainly it isn’t the NYT’s. But I’m grateful that we still have a hometown paper as I feel it is important to keep up on local news. However, I would like more complete world news coverage. Also, I don’t seem to be able to access the editorial page so I hope someone can help me do that. And sometimes the app is quirky to navigate Iike when I’ve read it all and then it sort of won’t allow me to go back. I know this is a difficult time for journalism so please stick with it. It’s SO important. Thank you.

Glad after about 10 years you finally put some effort into fixing all the glitches with the e paper. It is a lot easier to read now and not freezing up and shutting down.

I like it because of local news. The Android App needs improvement.
  • Clunky, outdated app

The Delawareonline app is an outdated, technically flawed, clunky app. The pop-up ads for the electronic version for subscribers is completely annoying. The app frequently freezes & crashes. It’s far too difficult to find prior editions after the recent “update”. Do better Gannett.
