Bring back the old format that looks like the real newspaper. After seeing new format I won’t download it!

I have a digital subscription to the EVV C&P but the updated app will not allow me to sign into the e-newspaper. Deleted app and added it back. Didn’t work. Reset password. Didn’t work. Restarted phone. Didn’t work. Ridiculous that I’m paying $99.99/yr and can’t access my data!!! Not a happy camper

So far I’m not impressed by this app. It’s cumbersome to sign in! I’m sick of media boxes with pictures of bicycles, crosswalks, etc!

I don’t want “top stories” or “sections, I subscribe to read the (condensed) daily edition, front to back. Too frequently, it simply won’t open, or only the front page will open but is so pixilated it’s illegible. Unfortunately this is the only media outlet that covers local news, politics and government in any depth. The local reporters do a good job, but what good is that if you can’t count on being able to access their stories?? Gannett has ruined the C&P and obviously doesn’t care about its digital customers.

Just the absolute WORST APP EVER!!! I do everything on my iPhone and this is the only app that I can rarely access my account. Perhaps someone could instruct me on how to access my account I have already followed the instructions, but it won’t pull up my account. I am forced to go the library to get it to work.

The Evansville Courier is important to the greater Evansville community in its diverse reporting of government, business, sports, entertainment, etc. HOWEVER, THE DAY’S DELAY IN REPORTING COMPROMISES ITS POWER OF INFORMATION AND TURNS READERS AWAY.
  • Keep Our Evansville Paper

So many communities are without a local paper. They are being bought up or they are closing because of lack of circulation. I wish I could have a “ real” paper delivered everyday but even that is a job not enough people want. At least we still can read the Courier and Press on line. Without it we would only get our news on TV. People lose a sense of community when they no longer know what’s going on around them.
