    The game actually rewards you for understanding the character mechanics. I’m already Gold 5 and I’ve consistently won against stronger units because of better positioning and drafting. Each mode feels unique and every rival shines under different conditions. An honestly fun and well-balanced game. Kudos to the designers!

  • Gameplay is stellar, but monetizing for the wrong genre

    Ubisoft Paris developed a phenomenal game. They've nailed the "easy to learn, hard to master," strategy dynamic. Characters and abilities are diverse, and true to the marketing: no two games are the same. Unfortunately, Ubisoft does not trust the gameplay to retain players and generate revenue. Unlike League of Legends or, more recently, Marvel Rivals; Ubisoft has chosen to lock stats and abilities behind in-game currencies. The currencies can be earned slowly by playing, or paid for. Cosmetics can be paid for as well. It's a common mobile game tactic, and it's typically required for retention in games that are compensating for a lackluster gameplay loop. In BUMP's case, I think it's actually going to slash retention. This game is designed to attract MOBA enthusiasts more than RPG players, and MOBA players hate competitive inconsistencies more than anything. Revenue is required. But my hope for Bump! is that they trust the gameplay and follow in LoL's footsteps. To make it 5 Stars: Make the roster expensive; but when you unlock a character, there's no level-up. Players all start with the same 6 characters, and then there's a weekly rotation of "free" characters. Expand on the lore and design cool cosmetics, people will pay for them. Let the gameplay retain players, and trust that an obsessed player base will be happily monetized.

    Very fun but some issues that completely ruin the ranked experience. Often the preview will show your attacking hitting or KOing an enemy, and then when it plays out it misses or doesn’t deal the same amount of damage, even if nothing affected it.

    Heavily influenced off of Brawl stars but has a unique twist to it, has potential to be a huge hit. Haven’t seen U Ubisoft produce a game this good in a min cant lie

  • Really fun but needs a way to test Heroes

    I love this game and it’s a lot of fun but I think it could definitely use a place to test out the heroes, like a firing range of some sort, because just reading and watching one simple video of an attack isn’t really enough in my opinion

    Game is really fun. But I don’t know some of it doesn’t make sense. Like when I should have clearly k.o’d somebody but it doesn’t for whatever reason and they end up knocking out 2 or 3 of my characters

    Could you add a way to test characters in an empty map/with bots that dont move or something? Its a bit hard to understand how some of the characters work and it would be way easier if you could test them out to see how they work. Especially because its hard to tell what the attack range would really be, etc. this would make thr game a bit more enjoyable and easier to create combos.
