  • Recognizes I paid, but won’t let me play

I am super frustrated. I’ve been playing Rocksmith 2014 on my Mac for years, so when I saw this for iPad, I was stoked. Well, I have now paid since November and have not been able to access my paid subscription content EVER. I went to support chat, and it said they’d respond within 48 hours! I’m sorry, but a 48 hour response time does not constitute a chat. It’s not even an adequate response time for email. When they did respond, all they did was send me a link to an article ( which I had already found myself) about the app sometimes not recognizing the subscription and to log out, and then log back in . First, it does recognize that I have a subscription. “The servers just need a little more time”…Well we are going on 4.5 months. Still not enough time apparently. Now I have to go through the hassle of getting a refund for all the money I’ve paid for a subscription I haven’t had access to, and the bottom line is that it seems the app is inaccessible, which is very disappointing and annoying. Why advertise something with this level of dysfunction?

I wish the trial could be done without having to create yet another login among our world of logins
  • It’s definitely not the original

Very Poor song selection. Lots of classic rock tunes missing. Crashes often, you pay for a subscription but are unable to play because their servers are down or technical difficulties. Very disappointing. Not worth 19 dollars a month at all.

I downloaded the app and subscribed with Apple. I never got access to the logged in version of the app. I ended up canceling my subscription. I spent hours trying to get Rocksmith to recognize that I had paid but no luck.

Really wanted to play and enjoy Rocksmith, since I’ve been trying to learn the guitar for a while and have been looking for a more gamified way to learn. I got the app and signed up for a 1 year subscription with a 7 day trial, but couldn’t get it to work for the life of me. Every time I tried to play it said I needed to subscribe, even though I just purchased a subscription. No matter what I did I couldn’t get it to recognize the subscription. I tried logging out / back in again, using a new account only based off my Apple ID, merging accounts….but after about 2 hours of trying to figure it out I gave up. Reddit is full of people also saying that they can’t get the app to recognize their subscription and that customer support isn’t helpful. Good thing it was a trial and I’m not out any money. Typical Ubitrash

I’ve had Yousician, which works better for Mobile. You’re better off getting Rocksmith 2014 on a gaming PC. This couldn’t pick up any notes. The integration with the tuner was also terrible. No support for iRig. Disappointed, but glad it only cost me $20.

Free trial if you sign up for a year 👉🏽👈🏽 I had both of the rocksmith games and thought this would be similar. The software doesn’t flow smoothly and it seems like just a money grab.

It should though I feel. Especially since there aren’t that many great songs. I’ll probably buy the cable for 2014 and just buy a few songs on there until they completely discontinue it or stop supporting it. Shame. We don’t need this app or you subscribing fees. We need updates and more songs to 2014. Also there is no option for 5 string bass only 4 which is confusing me three being an additional string. The tuner wasn’t very good either. My phone seems to work just fine with the fender tuner so it has to be this app that lately registers the notes. Also the sub price is expensive considering the lack of content for this app. I’ll be moving on now. So long as I never got to try the fish.
  • Good but have a big problem

I love the riff repeater—it really helps with tricky parts of the song. However, if you try to repeat the first bar, it doesn’t start from the very beginning; instead, it starts at 0:04, which doesn’t give enough time to prepare. I tried moving the phrase banner to the very beginning, but it still stays at 0:04. It’s really annoying and frustrating! Fix that issue and it’s 4/5 stars!
