    It is a great game and is very creative. However, if you aren’t on a computer, you can forget about it. The only times it was fun (Personal opinion) was on consoles and computers. However when I came back to the game on phone it was a buggy mess. Although my internet was good it operated poorly, however I don’t know if this is on me or the game. One thing that I will note though is that playing on a phone is quite a mess. Everywhere you click is an ad as your screen is too small. When you go to an ad you can’t escape it either, however this is likely due to the ad and not the game

    Been playing Growtopia since 2013 and back then the servers were completely fine. That all changed when it was sold to this money hungry company. Servers are laggy and it gets to a point where it is just unplayable. The servers are mostly just bots. 80,000 people online but honestly its more like 10,000 real people(could be less). For a company that’s worth almost 2 billion dollars, they will not fix it nor do they have the desire to fix it. Their only desire is to make more money, they keep on adding new stuff rather than fixing the game.

    This game has always been great! Sadly over time with new owners came more problems. The biggest one being a greedy company that cares more about money rather than its own players that are keeping their own games alive. It doesn’t take much to make a good ban system that gets rid of bots. It makes this game unplayable and is probably the reason why so many people quit / keep wanting to. Nobody is asking for new items, just a new system in which we can get rid of all these bots all together.

    I lost my account because of my email. I used to enjoy playing this game with my friends; I was always automatically logged in, I spent hours trying to figure out what my password was because the app logs you out everytime you update it; now it just logs you out everytime you swipe out of the game. After finding out the password it still didn’t let me in because I needed the email to verify the account. The email used to be my school email which was deactivated by the school, so even if I knew the password to my account I still couldn’t log in and there’s no way to change the email. I then made a new account with a new email and everything, an old friend gave me clothes and items and just after playing for about an hour I got banned for 900+ days. It’s also more difficult to gain xp; you used to be able to break any block you owned but now you’re not allowed to break blocks that give you the most xp unless you’re a certain level. I had to create a new gt account on a different device because you can’t play the game on the same device you’re banned on. So I’d say if you’re downloading the game make sure you save the username, password, email, and the email password. smh what happened to Growtopia

    The amount of scamming bots is actually insane, and they are in every popular world. Please, do something about this it absolutely ruins gameplay

    Actual trash excuse of a game. Servers are practically non-existent if you live in the USA. Don’t pay them for garbage servers that legit don’t load at all.

    Played this game since 2014 and nowadays the servers are so slow it's impossible to enter a simple door or move around. When you disconnect every few minutes you need to log back in again. Every time, not to mention having to "update" every few days by downloading a 200+MB file. Most of the game is ruined by hackers everywhere. Devs have completely abandoned this game, only adding things instead of updating playability. Do not recommend.
