Description

Keep your mind sharp with word and logic puzzles from New York Times Games. Free to download, the app offers new puzzles daily for every skill level. App Features and Games: NEW: STRANDS Our latest game lets you find hidden words and uncover the day’s theme. It’s the word search you know, with a twist. WORDLE Play the original Wordle — created by Josh Wardle — in our app. Guess the 5-letter word in 6 tries or less, and analyze your guesses with Wordle Bot. SPELLING BEE Is scrambling your strong suit? Play the daily Spelling Bee and see how many words you can make with 7 letters. THE CROSSWORD Subscribers can play the same daily puzzle that’s printed in The New York Times, in our app. Crosswords increase in difficulty throughout the week. CONNECTIONS Group words with a common thread. See if you can do it with four mistakes or fewer. SUDOKU Looking for a numbers game, minus the math? Play Sudoku and fill each 3x3 set of boxes with numbers 1 to 9. Play a new puzzle every day in easy, medium or hard mode. THE MINI CROSSWORD The Mini is all the fun of The Crossword, but you can solve it in seconds. These word puzzles don’t increase in difficulty throughout the week and feature simpler clues. TILES Unwind while you match elements in the day’s pattern — the key is to make consecutive matches. LETTER BOXED Create words using letters around the square. Letter Boxed is another fun way to test your word-making skills. STATS Track your progress for The Crossword, Wordle and Spelling Bee. For The Crossword, monitor your average solve times, see how many puzzles you can solve in a row, and more. Plus follow your streak on Wordle, and track how often you reach each level in Spelling Bee. LEADERBOARD Add friends to your leaderboard and follow daily scores across Wordle, Connections, Spelling Bee and the Mini. Plus, explore your score history. PUZZLE ARCHIVE Subscribers can now solve over 10,000 past puzzles from Wordle, Connections, Spelling Bee and The Crossword. • Great App!

They are constantly working at improving the app and anytime I’ve had issues and submitted a question or a bug I was experiencing they responded quickly and have been incredibly helpful. The app provides a quick link to the daily times article about the puzzle, and I’ve always found it very easy to use.
  • Arbitration

I deleted NYT Games because of their new arbitration policy and am not a fan of it. Just posting this here for the developers to see, but doubt they will care.
  • Data monger

Why is a game focused app collecting your purchase data. Collecting any of that data listed is blind theft.
  • Good selection of games but crossword puzzles don’t always work on the phone

I have been using the app for over six months now, and mainly play connections, spelling bee, and crosswords. Unfortunately, users that use the app to play crossword puzzles are at a real disadvantage. They do all sorts of clever things with extra spaces and Rubus puzzles, that cannot be played properly on the phone..
  • 😕 PLEASE READ, WORST GAME EVER

Nope, do not get, money, money, money. It’s out to get your money. Horrible app, do not get. Locked games, have to pay. Want to do more, have to pay. I am saving you.
  • Ads are data-intensive

    3
    By SureOkay64
I understand adding ads for free games, but I can no longer play wordle, etc. on data. The ad will not load, therefore the game will never unlock. I’m surprised this app lasted this long without giving in to plastering an ad on each individual game screen, but now that they have, I think it’s over. The puzzles are often okay, but sometimes the pop culture references feel dated or obscure, making the puzzles more difficult than intended.
  • Erases Totals and Streaks

I have a paid subscription and one day about a month ago, when I opened the app I was prompted to logon and when I did, all my Wordle totals were randomly reset to zero. So what’s the point of paying for anything. Too expensive and not worth the money. I will not be renewing.
  • Don’t bother

These games used to be fun, now they are such a waste of time you would have more luck trying to solve differential equations. Whoever is making them should be fired. They aren’t clever, they aren’t fun, they are simply bad.
  • Invite Friends doesn’t work

Only invites them to download. If they follow the link brings the to App Store. Click open. And not added as a friend. So I sent friend request. Nd same thing happened. Trying to connect friend that has an android. Maybe that is the issue?

The whole once a day thing is wack. I just wanna play wordle more than once. They never take more than 5 minutes then I gotta wait? Nah, I’ll go somewhere else.
