The sinister science fantasy universe of Warhammer 40,000 comes to savage life with Dawn of War II. It’s the 41st Millennium in the Sub-Sector Aurelia, a cluster of worlds on the edge of the Milky Way, where a battle of epic proportions is about to begin. As a newly promoted Force Commander of the Blood Ravens Chapter, it is your privilege to lead crack squads of Space Marines into battle against the forces of Orks, Tyranids and Eldar that threaten the Imperium of Man. Driven by an innovative campaign narrative steeped in the lore of Warhammer 40,000, armies of technologically advanced warriors wage brutal war against remorseless enemies in a series of addictively fast-paced and visceral combat missions. I previously submitted a report of an error, the error was with my choice in the display tab, not the game. Am looking forward to playing.

This is basically a squad based RPG set in the universe of warhammer 40k. It’s good, well made, and I have no problems with it. I feel that the gameplay isn’t quite interesting enough to justify 5 stars, but it is still a fun game.
  • Clasic Dawn of War II - Great RTS

Great port of Dawn of War II. It plays very smooth on high graphics settings on my iMac (5K Late 2014). I have played about a dozen or more missions and not encountered any bugs. Great storyline that keeps you entertained. Good mix of “Space Marines” that you get to build up throughout the missions. A good deal of equipment becomes available as you play. The missions are a little repetitive but they do a pretty good job throwing in some changes here and there. The boss battles are pretty tough. Great RTS game.

Bought this game for the sole purpose of playing offline instant-action and just haivng fun and messing around with the factions. Sadly, no such instant action mode is available aside from online play but no one owns the game….yeah
