  • Fun but has issues

    I have 7 classic mode games that are stuck on “your turn”, but when I click on them, it shows that I have played and the other person has not. I can’t forfeit the game and the other person can’t play because the game thinks it’s my turn. The games take up a ton of space and have been there for almost two weeks. Another issue I’ve encountered is when I try to play against the different ai difficulties, they all say “expert” at the top. I used to wish the hard mode one was harder, but now I can’t even beat the “easy” mode one without spending multiple coins on boosters. I used to just play the challenge mode a bunch, but then after like five boards I noticed they were repeating. Kinda takes the challenge out of it. On a positive note, I really enjoy the daily challenges and being able to compare my score with the leaderboard of all the other players. But there’s nothing to spend my hundreds of coins on, and the game rarely ever finds a person for me to even play against.

    I like the game. I think you should implement a competitive mode with a ranking system. Additionally, set a timer or resign button on classic mode because I have a lot of matches where people haven’t played yet.

    Latest: fixed again. Would still love word definitions and more stats: specifically how many words I found. Previous: And now the game crashes every time I open it. So I can’t access the internal help function but the devs are active on here so maybe they’ll see it. Previous update: Devs fixed the problem! Still want definitions for the words in the list. Withholding a star until then. This is one of my daily plays. Old review: Enjoying this game until the daily challenge broke for me today. Trying to open it crashes the game. Reinstalling didn’t fix, just subjected me to all of the startup hints I don’t need anymore. Would also love it if there were definitions available for the words in the list.

    This is a fun game, but I have 10 multiplayer games that are stuck-glitched and won’t let me play. I can’t start a new game because it instructs me to finish the stuck games before starting a new one. After developer’s response- I have updated everything on the phone and the app. It’s still not working properly and constantly glitch’s so the game is not letting you start a new game. Please developers fix this game so we can enjoy it. We pay for it and can’t play it!

    Update March 21, 2025 I already had (and still have) the most updated version both of this app and of iOS. The developers clearly have made improvement, because the app does not currently crash as soon as I open it. I can play it now. However, there are many Classic games stuck in the “Your Turn” queue, and there appears to be no way to clear them. I hope these issues will be ironed out, as this is an enjoyable game. Original review: This game was fun while it lasted. A couple of weeks ago, it began glitching, and now it crashes immediately upon opening. I had higher expectations for a game from Zynga and for a game that’s part of the [paid] Apple Arcade.

  • Terrible experience

    Super glitchy and using the most updated. Due to their issue, I am locked out of games as my queue is full…but it won’t let me play the games. Customer support is no help…just vague statements like “check your internet connection”. Frustrating. Update: Been over 40 days I can’t play. Also there are way too many 1 and 2 star reviews for them to really be 4.5 overall…that isn’t accurate at all. And please don’t say I need to update…that isn’t true.

  • Daily Fun

    I love Boggle and this is a great and faithful version of it. I’m hoping for more levels to be added in the future but this game has been tremendously fun and challenging. Hope the daily challenge puzzle goes on forever!

  • Pretty much unplayable

    Edited to add: there’s no way of responding to the developer directly, the contact link takes you to their TOS. Despite their comment this is not fixed and in fact have only been using the game since their most recent update. There is a major bug in multiplayer that identifies games as Your Turn, but when you click in to play, it shows the other players words as yours and doesn’t let you do anything. These games just sit and you can’t do anything to get rid of them, which means I now have 28 games that are my turn and it wont let you start anymore games when you have 30 active. I’m quickly approaching not even being able to play. I’m shocked that this made it to the App Store like this and that it’s part of Apple Arcade.

  • Keeps going back to the homepage

    I’ve been playing Boggle for 4 months, but the game keeps going back to the homepage every time I try to play it. What is happening? Am I having an issue? Is the game no longer available in Apple Arcade? I keep tapping the game over and over to play the daily challenges, but it keeps doing the same thing. I’ve been playing the daily challenge every day.
