App shows option for two sided printing but ignores user attempts to a set two sided printing job. Printer is an MFC-L3750CDW.

The settings on the printer app are very limited; you cannot make the document more darker, bold or italic (or part or the document), crop and other. That way I could print the documents the way I want from my iPad or iPhone.

I’ve been using the app for a while and it works great for me. It helps connect my phone to my wireless printer very easily and every time I’ve had to use it.

After update this is no longer available to send documents. Will not see a document in files. Will print same document from source website.

If you think you can use this app properly on ios you are wrong. Serious issues I found while using the app - one cannot select stored locally on ios as a file. It access only photos? Right, let me use cloud storage… - it doesn’t list files shared with you on google drive. What? Why? Let me copy file to my account… - finally, let me find my file, I know it’s starts from “copy” because I just copied it. Search doesn’t work. It finds just 2 files out of tens of file start with copy. No clue why. Let me find it myself… - I have so many files, how to I sort by date/type etc. No, you cannot. Summarizing - it’s a shame. Don’t you have QA for releasing this? Where your PMs are looking… Seriously, it’s better not to have app at all rather than having this app.

I purchased my brother printer model: MFC-J480DW approximately 3-4 years ago. I wanted a printer that I could wirelessly print from my iPhone. I use the iPrint&Scan app. Up until 5-6 months ago everything worked great. The only time I had to reconnect/re-link my cell phone to my printer was after a power or internet outage. But not anymore! Every time I want to print something I have to set-up a new connection, like it’s the very first time I’m using it. So now I’m having to purchase a new printer that I can depend on & depend on it’s connection. I purchased my Brother printer because I was assured that it was easy to set-up wirelessly & would keep the connection. Which ever since 5-6 months ago, it won’t. I can’t walk 10 feet away from my printer without it loosing its wireless connection to my iPhone. I have spoken to brother support and apple support regarding this. Just to make sure I was linking them correctly. Which I knew I was, since it worked fine for years. But now I absolutely hate everything about Brother. All I can think is that an update did something to the brother iPrint&Scan app. I can’t believe that a huge corporation would allow something like this (app update) to loose thousands of customers for them. I didn’t read one good review. Which tells me Brother doesn’t care about there customers or keeping them!
  • Poor printing from iPad

This app doesn’t work with my iPad 6th generation. It prints extra copies, prints only half pages sometimes, and is unreliable. Fix this app!
  • FaceID Login Security…?

The FBI can’t break it! Logging into my HL-L3270CDW printer is tedious! I enter my email address & depress the icon located at the far right of the encrypted email address only to seemingly be ignored. Why can’t a paired local iPhone authenticate my login identity? My printer is rarely powered, as I seldom print. Why can’t the printer automatically power up when receiving a print request? Of course, with the absence of any print jobs & an empty printer queue, why can’t the printer also automatically power down or hybernate?

I called “Brother”, because I’ve used & had your 5 in 1 multi-function printer etc always. But-Now that I unplugged w/internet co., I could only think of chatting w/ a tech of yours on your site. He came up w/I print & scan for me.. It’s a MFC-J835DW, & should work w/App. BUT-It cannot find my Apple ph or iPad!!! I’ve tried for 4-5 days!!! I ONLY HAVE WI FI…(PLEASE WHAT ARE THE EXACT STEPS-??)at least to just print?,,(per tech, I shouldn’t need anything else(?)…Help-please!!
  • Worthless app

The app can almost never find the printer. Maybe once in 50 tries. If you try again and again you might get lucky. Rebooting the printer doesn’t help. Reboot the phone doesn’t help. It doesn’t seem to matter if you’re close to the printer or not. It just doesn’t work. For the price of the printer, it’s ridiculous that they can’t get this right, where a cheap throwaway printer has no problem.
