These added value benefits are subject to change. Balances above $3,000 in the Checking account earn 2.50% APY. The APY for this tier will range from 4.00% to 3.40% depending on the balance in the account (calculation based on a $5,000 average daily balance). Customers who do not qualify for the 4.00% APY will earn 2.50% APY on all Checking account balances for any month(s) in which they don’t meet the requirements listed above. Savings/Shared Savings account customers earn 2.50% APY on all account balances per month. You must have a T-Mobile MONEY Checking account that is in good standing & funded to open any type of Savings account. APYs are accurate as of 4/1/25 but may change at any time at our discretion. Fees may reduce earnings. T-Mobile is not a bank. Banking services are provided by Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC. For all of the above items as well as qualifying transactions, see Terms and Conditions or FAQs.

They closed my account without ever reaching out to inform that another bank was taking the business. Money tied up in a closed account that they want to send to me via check. Stay away!

I’ve been banking with T-Mobile money for about 3 years now and I advise people not to use mobile checking because it takes dam near 8 days for your check to clear I don’t know if it takes that long because they are not in the USA but I will never ever deposit my work check on the mobile app it’s not worth it if you need your money you will have to wait just go to a check cashing place til you job start releasing your checks electronically that’s the only thing I don’t like
  • Inconsistent

The inconsistency with the direct deposit is astounding. I get paid the same day every month, yet the day it hits the card is never the same and can vary to really early to late the day of. I get constant error messages and report them and then told it’s something I’m doing. lol. There are better money cards out there.
  • Terrible company

They didn’t notify me in the app that they were changing banks despite claiming they gave me 1 month notice. They never msgd me despite saying they did… they just closed my account and held my money for 5-7 business days after closing it. I’m a t-mobile phone service user and had the card for about 8 months or more.
  • NOT a Real BANK- Closed my account w/o Notification

This bank shut my account down after sending spam email warnings only. They have preferred communication which I selected push notifications or phone call. They didn't reach out with a push notification or call or send anything in the mail. Caused a lot of return payments and fees to everywhere I used the account. They take no responsibility for this at all. T-MOBILE loves to blame the customer for all the things get wrong. Go to a real bank that won't send spam mail for BIG changes account closure.

This “bank” was semi-decent till just now. They froze my account for a couple days over an email that had a deadline of yall switching over to a new bank and now my account is shut down. That’s is what your customer service said to me. They provided no solutions or options for me , and I literally asked “so basically there’s nothing I can do to have an account with you guys?” Lady simply said “no”. Way to keep y’alls customers by just not giving a f and letting us go just like that.

I would really like to sign up for T-Mobile Money, but still can’t create an account. It’s an endless loop. I’ve even called and no one can tell me when I’ll be able to sign up. They just say it’s been broken since Dec 2024 and don’t know when it’ll be fixed. Come on T-Mobile, get it together!
  • Here we go AGAIN!

Yet ANOTHER T-Mobile app that doesn’t work. A multi billion dollar company and they can’t come up with functional mobile apps for their customers. They have no problems taking that money though
