Y’all have ruined a good app for dog tracking with the newest update. Have ran the app the past 2 years and loved it but this year I have done nothing but cuss the app. Had to go back to running the drive track to help keep track of the dogs. Guess y’all done done this update to try and push everyone to just buy the tread. Very very disappointed with Garmin on this issue

The app and the watch are no longer hardcore outdoor gear because of the changes to the app. Before the change use the app and the fenix watch together to enjoy the wilderness for long periods of time. Now you cannot. It’s just a poor app and the watch is just an over priced fitness tracker. Thanks for going mainstream garmin.
  • Bring back previous version

The new version is nearly useless for tracking dogs. Bring back the old version. The map is always cluttered with old tracks to the point that the app is useless.

Worked great in the mountains of Wyoming. I would like to see sunrise and sunset added to the weather.

What on God’s green earth did you guys do with this update? No more TopoActive, aspect ratios all F’d up, quad sheets gone, crappy maps? Quit trying to fix things that aren’t broke. And no, I wont give you more money.

Please specify field types in-app so password managers know to auto fill. Same goes for credit card info on the maps+ checkout.
  • An improvement with a few glitches

Garmin is rapidly updating explore 4.0.x with improvements and adding a wider variety of map layers for download. I have noticed a glitch both downloading and streaming a map across a state line (Carlsbad Caverns to Guadalupe Mountains) where the Topo layer for NM is visible but is totally blank for TX. Oddly the USGS layer works fine.

Currently traveling overseas and planned on using Garmin for offline maps. It just straight up doesn’t work at all. If you can’t rely on the app that’s purpose is to help you in those situations what is the point of the product at all?
