This app used to be free and now you have to pay to save it to your phone and share scans.

I have been using this app for years, then I decided to update it and now they are asking me to pay to save the scans??? I regret updating it so bad… it was my favorite scanning app
  • Why do I have to sign in every day?

I've been using this app since it first came out and it's mostly been great. Indeed it works better than ever. BUT, for the past few weeks it's been requiring me to sign in every time I use it, like every day or more often. I have a paid, premium Evernote account. It used to be seamless to use Scannable, now my work is interrupted by frequent sign in requests. Please end this nonsense!

Waste of time. iPhone 16, latest operating system. Scans will not show up in Evernote. Waste of time.
  • Wish I could give it zero stars

I only use this app sparingly. Used to love it. Now I’m quitting it. I don’t need Evernote to save what I scan. I usually use it to scan in stuff for our accountant for tax season. I used to be able to upload from the scannable and send it without having to use another app. I may only use it once more in a year. Now I’m going to have to pay $14.99/month or get a year subscription just to scan a few documents. So nope, not going to use this app anymore. Evernote has ruined this app since its purchase of it.
  • Recent updates totally ruined app

This was literally one of the best PDF scanning apps. Very quick, and made very clear and SMALL file sizes for finished PDF scans. Would let you immediately save to your device, or even email them. Now after the update, you can’t do any of that. And they expect you to pay monthly to “unlock” those premium features. I don’t use cloud storage for ANYTHING. It’s on my device or my own servers. These greedy people didn’t “update” the app, they stole a previously fully functional scanning app, and are holding you hostage to make you pay monthly for the features you had been using for years. I would have bought the app outright, (one time purchase price) but I am not paying a subscription for ANYTHING, and will not use or be forced into using any online cloud like storage. Look elsewhere for a clean scan to PDF app without the underhanded business tactics, the forced storage requirements, and without the forced subscriptions.
  • Update is forcing a subscription

I would use this app all the time, but it’s gotten glitchy and scans have been low quality but now I can only export to Evernote, which has its own problems, unless I pay a weekly fee. Deleting this app as it’s trash now.

The app use to be great and easy, but once bought out by Evernote it has been a paywall disaster
