Not sure why they pushed me to use this new app when it simply doesn’t work. Even though I get this for free I’m moving to something else.

Lastpass is awesome. The safari extension is almost useless though. It sometimes wont even open even though I am logged in. Its a constant work-around to find a password. Ive deleted, uninstalled, signed out, signed in and theres always something not working.

I have never had issues logging into my last pass until I made the switch. I hate using Safari, but I’m doing it anyway and it’s not working. I tried multiple times to reset my password and verify through email and text which the messages send but the website won’t allow me to enter the information. I feel like LastPass has gone downhill. I won’t be renewing as I was already having issues with it syncing from phone to laptop to iPad.

I’m grateful that this isn’t the only way to access my passwords, otherwise I’d be locked out. LastPass for Safari has an extension that never launches, so I just always get the instructions for enabling the extension. After following the instructions it still doesn’t launch.
  • Needs Dedicated App

It was bad enough having to use Lastpass in Chrome, but now I have to use it in Safari it has sent me looking for alternatives such as Bitwarden and 1Password. It would not be so bad if the Safari implementation worked, but even with the extension in Safari it still does not always recognize a login page and so needs to be refreshed, which then requires me to re-enter the master password. This software was much much more useable when we had a dedicated application. At least you could keep that open and use copy/paste.

Why the heck do I need to log in OVER and OVER? This was a decent app for Mac until the App Store “update”

do not download, far far far worse than the desktop app.
  • I miss the app

I used the app regularly — as an app. At least half of the time I’m just in to the app looking for information without wanting to have the overhead and extra steps of starting Safari or another browser.

Had the full Last Pass for years with no problems, but since Safari uses the Extension now, I’ve had nothing but trouble. Read what the others have said for full details. Makes me want to get another password manager, but the thought of retyping everything makes me want to cry. I hate this extension, though. I certainly hope a fix is on the way.
