I won my game, received message that I won, did not receive the points. Sent in a email wondering where my winnings were. They responded with you didn’t final weigh in which I did and have the message saying final weigh in received.
  • Won My Money Back but Took Time to Receive It

I won my own money back (no profit) but I still have not received my payout. I contacted support and they acknowledged my payout was requested. I followed the troubleshooting steps and it took two weeks for it to be received.

I participated in a challenge and won and never received the payout. None of the contestants received anything and the pit was $134,000. Even if you do “win” the payout can be less than what you put in because the host takes 25%. Not sure how losing money motivates people to lose weight.
  • Win but no earnings

This used to be such a good app and when there were a lot of players you would win money. Now with 3220 players I only won $3. Why bother? Don’t waste your time with dietbet
  • Shady app

The app takes 25% of the bet so you’ll likely win very little or even lose money. That’s if you even get the payout. I requested a payout several days ago and have yet to receive it. I’m supposedly supposed to receive an email “for security purposes” which I never received. Don’t trust it with your info.

I paid $45 for a game and won $43.49. DietBet put an additional $5000 yet I ended up losing money. Seems kind of fishy to me.

They offer these big payouts but you’ll most likely lose money even if you win your bet. Better option, just give me your money. No false promises, you’ll just lose it.

I won my diet bet and still lost money. I paid $45 and won $43.50 back. It was very disappointing. I didn’t do it for the money, but I feel it was false advertising.

I’ve tried this a few times and actually “won” this last month. There was about 130k in the pot between about 2500 people but after DietBet takes their cut we all won about $2.00. Yep, that’s right. I suppose it can be helpful motivation…but now it just feels like a scam to take more money and add shame to overweight people. They need more transparency and better rewards for winners.
  • Diet bet takes a huge portion

Depending on your “monthly bet” $0-99 they take 25% of the pot. They took over $30,000 from the pot. If over 75% had won, you wouldn’t even win back your money. You’re basically betting that other people will not make it. Betting over $100 20% is taken. Betting over $250 a month 15% is taken. Betting over $500 a month 10% is taken. Do not be scammed into buying the membership, your odds of winning their little gadget are next to nothing and it’s not required and then you won’t win ANYTHING, because they $5 is not in the pot of your dietbet. If you would like to pay $40 and hope to get it back (ie hope others lose) for the support found in these groups, everyone is very nice. But you can get into free Facebook groups and find the same helpfulness maybe even more. It’s hard to find where someone replied to your comment and comment back. All you see is their comment in your notifications with no ability to reply there, you have to go search for it. so they’re not using their winnings to make the app good. I won’t be doing any more of these. Scam. They’re taking too much. They could keep the app as junky as it is with the $5 membership fee. No one cares about the weekly prizes, they never win. Quit giving those away and you’ve now saved enough to “keep the lights on” as their team calls their cut of $30,000.
