  • can’t log in or stay logged in

    I might like this app if I could LOG IN. When I am logged in, I get an error every time I open the app telling me to sign out or retry. Retrying does nothing. Today I signed out and tried getting back in and it wouldn’t work. Reset my password and it seemed to work except every time I’d get to the point where I’d get a code texted and I’d submit it, there’s an error and I’m told my account is temporarily locked. I just want to use the app!!!! I would love to! I would love to give this more than one star but yikes!

    I have never written a review before for a website or app. This has been one of the worst things I have ever used before. They offer limited options for almost everything even at their “best” plan. Their app has NEVER worked for me, and their website online is what I am referring to since app doesn’t work. The customer service is horrible and never knows your questions. The customer service seemed like they don’t even know who they are working for and know nothing about Weebly. Save yourself time and use ANYTHING else. Everything I said is 100% honest, please take my advise if you see this before use.

    I created a website through weebly, paid for a url, had it in my name and everything for a non profit that we ran. The person that ran our website ended up leaving and her email address was the log in. Her email address was no longer active so we figured this wouldn’t be a problem because we have a joint square account, I pay for the the url, we have several other ways to verify ownership. But weebly says “nope, just make a new website.” So this thing that has been the foundation of our group for so long and they don’t care to work with us to find solutions. Also they said they would “investigate” or “escalate” our case when talking to them on the phone it was clear nothing had been investigated whatsoever. People use weebly because it’s relatively cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.

    First, as I was trying to log in using the Weebly app, and it say I need to download and log into the Weebly app. I WAS USING THE WEEBLY APP. Then it’s asking questions about how I sell and ship the stuff I sell. I DONT SELL ANYTHING. I finally get past all that nonsense and none of the website editor works correctly and then it hangs constantly. I click the logo, but it won’t let me click to change the logo. I click an image, but I can’t click to change image. It’s 2025 and the government thinks they can build a safe AI that will change the future, but we can’t even build a simple app that actually works. What’s up with that. It’s Pathetic.

    Embarking on the journey of starting my own business and square has met and exceeded my expectations with in the free app. I just upgraded to professional at $18 per month and can’t wait to see the results I will be able to achieve. Not to mention the plethora of built in apps to manage your business.

    This is the worst app / website I’ve ever used. It won’t let me log on on my computer. Always says “the business owner has to authorize applications to this account”. My account isn’t set up with a business because I made my own account to use for school. So WHAT BUSINESS OWNER? THE CEO OF SQUARE??? When it’s not doing that it’s telling me my password and username is wrong. I know it is not wrong because as soon as I try to log in on my phone it works just fine. It’s not just my computer either because I’ve tried this on other computers and it does the same thing. The customer service is not helpful at all! I try to contact them every time this happens and they have never responded. When this happens I just have to wait about 5 days and it works again until the next time I need to log in. I do not have time to wait around for this I have due dates I need to have this done by. This is so irritating and if you need to use this app I recommend looking somewhere else because this is not it.

    On a computer or chromebook this app / browser works perfectly but on an iPad this is trash. IT WONT LET ME ADD ANY ELEMENTS OR DO ANYTHING!!!!! It acts like my finger isn’t even touching anything this is trash!!!!!!!! Zero stars for this garbage

    Simply crashes when I try to switch sites. Lacks an intuitiveness. Charged me twice for a pro account.
