  • Ads on a Bible app is crazy

  • Bra ad takes over

    I needed a particular version of the bible so i downloaded the app at the start of the sermon. After going through the initial set up, an ad for bras come on. In church is an ad with women shaking/jiggling their breasts advertising a bra. Then it stopped but there was no way to leave the ad. Wherever i touched it took me to google to the site to buy a bra. I can understand any app needing ads to keep it free but to allow an ad to completely take over the app? I couldn’t even use the app. And the embarrassment from the ad while in church…i will look for a more descent app.

    I’ve had this app for a few years and never had to watch a game ad before I get to what I came here for. Very disappointed.

  • The APP blacks out

    I really enjoy the price for all those study bibles that you have access to and commentaries. However the only main problem I’ve been having is if I don’t use the app in a day or 2 the app blacks out and won’t let me access the Bible unless I select the app and reinstall it.

    Honestly, ever since whoever became in charge of this app, it all went downhill. Once ads were implemented more than anything. This was a functional working app but is now ruined. Has yet to even work. Very saddening……… 0 stars if I could. Disappointed because before I could take this out anywhere & no problems. Now the only functional thing is the daily verse. You can’t open your bible or anything on this now. Even with the update. The update did nothing but only show the daily verse. Before it just showed an endless buffering circle.

    This app has rarely worked to its full capacity. I am a plus member and can never get it to open the actual text. Everything opens except the Bible! The only way I can use my membership is on my MacBook, which is inconvenient because I use my iPad and phone more frequently. I do not recommend this app to anyone. It is a waste of your storage space.

  • Bible Gateway doesn’t care

    I used Bible Gateway for YEARS and it was AWESOME. Easy to use and recommended it to family and friends. It had a great interface and was good for quick bible reference and also for study. About a year ago the latency of the app got worse and worse. We put in tickets and nothing ever got fixed. Instead it got progressively worse. Then the final straw was a forced full screen app that most cannot figure out how to exit from even after wadding through it for 60 seconds. Look for yourself at the current reviews for the last few months. Their response will be to report “inappropriate” ads. LOL. NO response to the greatest bible app of the past becoming UNUSABLE. Obviously they could care less. It’s been going on since last year. People are leaving in droves. My research has found the Bible app. Search on Bible. Sad…I finally deleted Bible gateway today. Time to move on..,

    The new ads on here are full of bugs and make using the app really difficult. Most of the time I can’t even get to the scripture. Please fix this issue, I understand the need but there’s got to be a better way.
