  • Not a very efficient app

I don’t find this app to be very efficient. I don’t necessarily want or need all of the video instructions. Where’s the button to skip to the bare bones recipe?

However, i wish i could access those wonderful oldy but goodie ones from decades ago! Please, could you give us an archive where we can find them, when far from home and that file of older recipes?
  • Very finicky app

I’m subscribed. Sometimes I use the app and my recipes don’t show up causing me to delete and re load the app. Today I am able to pull up my saved recipes, but when I search for new recipes and select one to look out I get a message saying Oops. Something went wrong and the retry option does nothing. The app used to work consistently when it was free. Now I’m paying an annual fee for a very poor app.

I don’t have to use a pen and notebook for my recipes anymore, I can use my phone.
  • Once a favorite app, now totally unusable

I used to absolutely love this app. I found myself browsing it casually looking for new recipes during the work day, laying in bed, sitting in waiting rooms… but it’s been so hit or miss lately, and even more recently it’s totally unusable. Not one category loads any recipes. I can’t recommend such an unreliable product, which is a horrible shame because it used to be my favorite app.
  • Great recipes, but is anyone else having EPI app issues?

Great variety of recipes and accompanying information! However, the EPI App on my iPhone 12 with iOS 18.0.1 installed does NOT allow browsing or scrolling (neither horizontal nor vertical scrolling). Honest question: is anyone else having this issue? Or gave s suggestion as to how to troubleshoot OR (even better) resolve?! My rating for the app would increase to 4 or 5 stars if the scrolling issue were yo be resolved!

App just stops working randomly (doesn’t respond when I try to scroll). Forces me to exit the app and start all over again. Ugh.
  • Locks Up

Tried to search for recipes for Kabocha squash and it didn’t let me scroll through the results. I paid a lot of money to subscribe to this app but I don’t think I’m getting my monies worth from it.
  • Scrolling issues

This should be a 5 star review. In all reality, it IS a 5-star app. Except that it’s completely unusable. Want to scroll through recipes? Nope, the app is completely unresponsive until you touch just the right spot on the screen. Until this issue is fixed, Safari is the app to use for Epicurious.

Home Screen is stuck when I search, I can’t scroll down to see recipes. Please fix and I’ll fix my rating.
