Pun intended but I’ve been out to a few OHV parks and used OnX and it did great but really it’s been fantastic at tracking me while I run all of the forest service roads of the Francis Marion National Park. Muddy back woods roads not very challenging but OnX is a must. Easy to use like an iPhone. Very intuitive. Happy trails.

I have used OnX now for a few years and find this the most user friendly app to use and plan routes.

You have to keep the app open to download offline maps, but the download rate is slower than dial up. So you kill your battery keeping your phone on for hours, and wait an eternity for it to download a map of your region.

I’ve enjoyed this app for the past few days of using it. Few things though I wish it had or maybe I’m missing something- * For people using ATV’s and other recreational vehicles it would be nice if there was more info on where to park your trailers at. *Most of the directions to the trails I looked at were very sparse and not real thought out in terms of directions. * It would be nice for a way to message other users. This way you could ask them particular things about a trail if they were at it recently and you were planning on going soon * The build route tool seems very neat except it’s kind of clunky and not very user intuitive On a positive note being able to see boundaries for private/public land is very cool!! * The fact that the developer reached out I’m giving it an extra star!

Love the intuitive interface and ability to write/read recent trail updates to get current trail conditions. The boundaries are clearly marked for state and national parks, as well as BLM land, making it easy to identify which trails can be explored without the danger of trespassing. Excellent app!

What’s the point of making it free to download but pay to use. First screen that pops up when opening is free trial or purchase and can’t get past it.
