  • Cheap brush engine

Enjoy your cheap looking art. Bland and boring flat brushes. The engine has no depth ability. Worthless app. Ruined adobe sketch. A far better brush engine. If you want cheap brushes you might as well buy procreate.
  • False advertising, huh?

Large banner on the App Store says “explore symmetry this winter!” That’s literally the only reason I downloaded this app — for the symmetry feature. But symmetry doesn’t work on iPhone, it’s only on iPad
  • Great!

If you are a beginner and want to try things out, or you are poor and can’t afford Procreate, then just get this!
  • This app is terrible

This is the most frustrating app… It constantly crashes on my iPad Gen 9, will stop working unless you exit out of your project, and too many times it will not load your document again till you exit out. Half the time, many of the brushes will not load, sometimes it’ll fail to import a picture or fail to export your project, and god forbid you hit the paintbrush while you’re working vector mode or pencil mode. Doing so you run the risk of it corrupting your current layer, requiring you to back out and reopen it, to which, if you’re lucky, it’ll only break one layer, and if you’re unlucky, it’ll break multiple layers forcing you to delete them and start over. I make sure the product is up-to-date and clear what ai can, yet it still rarely works. Not only is it the worst art app I’ve ever used, but it’s one of the worst apps I’ve ever used period. It gets two stars because when it actually works, it’s really nice.

Okay I’m very upset. I was finishing a drawing I had been working on for 4 days. I had planned it, I had done some sketches on paper, I had carefully selected each of my references, and it looked great. Then, when I was finishing up the background, adding the last touches, I decided to use one of the water color brushes. I made a new layer (I only and about 4 layers open by the way) when it started to glitch. I exited out of the drawing and back onto the homepage, but then when I clicked on it again everything was gone. I couldn’t figure out how to go back and get what I had previously saved the day before or anything. I googled it and looked in the help page and through their tutorials but found no way to get my art back. This is not the first time this has happened either. Maybe I’m not using a powerful enough device, but I still feel like there should be a way to go back in your drawing version history. Adobe, please fix this. I actually cried when it got deleted.

This app would be my forever love if it had custom color palettes that save in the color portion
