  • Bugs are too frustrating, just use desktop version

I wanted Illustrator to work for me on iPad, I actually prefer it to the desktop for the layout and ease of use. But theres a particularly frustrating bug that makes it impossible for me to continue using Illustrator on iPad and forces me to use the desktop version. Text on a path never likes to stay in its spot, and when i reopen the file later after saving, the text is in a totally different spot then where i set it. I can't redo my art every time I open the file, so I just have to use Illustrator on desktop where saving a file means my text is exactly where i left it. Adobe has had this bug in the radar since 2021, and no solution as of 2024

The app is so bad you guys should just kill it off the iPad. What’s the point? If a user goes into this, and then goes into Affinity Designer, or any other vector drawing software for iPadOS they would see you guys put the least amount of effort in as possible. No support or updates to fix issues, no features. I mean everything else on the platform blows this experience away. You guys missed a huge opportunity because if you guys gave a fully featured illustrator for iPad people would have paid extra for it.
  • Just outright bad

Despite its colorful ads and “easy to use advertising” this is a waste of time and money.

Use desktop, once Adobe gets you signed up on the iPad you won’t be able to cancel on the account manager and they’ll just keep charging you.
