  • Requires improvements

I spent 2-3 hours to install this program on my son’s computer and connected to the my mobile phone app. When my son (14 yo) found out what was going on he needed only 30 seconds to delete it from his computer. I didn’t find any protection from uninstalling (like for example Google Family has), so I refunded my money back. On my opinion this program needs improvement.
  • Worst app

I hate this app. I got it to have parent supervision on my child’s computer and it’s constantly glitching out and not working. Feature such as her asking for more time has an “error” and times out. Very frustrating and a waste of money.
  • Not complete enough!

My child easily uses his device even when locked, only by using the “popup view” option in Galaxy Tablet!

For some reason I can login in safari and manage/monitor the devices my kids use but when I log into the Norton family app it’s all blank and asks me to “add a child” none of my kids accounts are showing up! Super frustrating after deleting and re downloading multiple times 🤦🏼‍♀️😩
  • 1.16 is broken

This is specifically a review of the “parent” app. V1.16 release in late July 2024 is broken on iOS 17.6. Web Activity summary no longer allows you to see all of the categories and click on them to see specific site accessed, only a few most recent (even when expanding for 30 days) there’s no longer a drop-down to see them all On the web activity list, the specific pages visited are no longer shown, just the parent domain. This is a step backwards.
  • I would like it but

I would love this, but it randomly will just block websites apps need to connect to servers. All of the internet access will also randomly be turned off
  • Hardly ever works…

This app is so inconsistent with locking and unlocking computers. So frustrating for parents and children!
  • Location services disables automatically

I appreciate this app for the ability to set and change house rules, block certain websites, and know where my child's is. I am frustrated by the fact that location services keep turning off somehow on both devices. This never happened before with a different monitoring app. And it happens when no one is using the phone or tablet. A smaller issue is that there is no way to lock devices separately. The only option is to lock all of one child's devices. Now I'm in a situation where the morning of a day my child's phone was stolen, the location services were disabled, so I can't locate the phone. And I can't lock it without also locking my child's tablet which she can also use to communicate. Developer response YEARS LATER?

Norton sends me alerts hours after the incident took place. It’s horribly frustrating.
  • This one lasted about 5 minutes

Disclaimer: I am searching for an app that apparently doesn’t exist but all these family screen time apps act like they do. I just want to be able to add time to the child’s time allowance whenever I deem it useful or deserved. So, this app doesn’t do what I want it to. It might be great for you if you want the things it does do (the same things all these apps do). Unless you have an iPad. The app works very poorly on IPad. It’s hard to read and click through.
