this stupid app makes me sign in with my master password EVERY SINGLE TIME i want to autofill a password into anything, and is incredibly difficult to use in coordination with my phone/ipad/chrome. i'm only still using it becuase my college pays for a subscription. as soon as that ends i'll be switching to something that actually saves me time and is helpful.
  • Love now that Apple Password is FREE

I paid full price for the APP before it became subscription based. That would be fine if the developer let us old users keep using the app and the features we bought. But no, they abandoned their old app and came out with a new one with the exact same features with subscriptions and stopped updating their old app which became unusable. Now that Apple provides its own passwordapp now… gg

The Browser Plugin use to work great. Now it doesn't fill my password. I have to open the app and copy and paste.
  • Latest Update Broke Integration

The latest update broke integration with the desktop app, meaning the user needs to sign in to the browser extenstion every single time the browser is launched even if the user already signed into the desktop app. This was not an issue prior to the most recent update, and this should have been caught in testing.
  • Great Program

This is the best program that we have on our computers. We have had this program for 15 years. Had a few problems when we first put it on, but with 1Passwords support it is now very easy to use. We have over 100 passwords protected. We have slowly changed all of our passwords that use to be a few letters and numbers. They now very complicated and safe.
  • Nothing what it used to be

From a simple and effective beginning this is now a complicated piece of trash in the name of "New features".
  • Going downhill

Product seems to be getting slower and slower. It takes ages for it to load in browsers. Been using since version 1 but I think it is now time to move on...

I've been a loyal 1password customer for years. However I just upgraded to a new macbook and realized. I cannot download the same version of 1password I've been using, and instead need to download a version that requires a paid subscription. I dont want cloud storage, I dont need a watchtower, I dont need to become some devoloper's constant revenue stream. I just need a local password vault I pay for once like a normal piece of software. It sounds like Apple is about to release their own password vault program that will most likely be tied in to icloud, so I will probably just use that instead.

Used to be a great product. Just flat out doesn't work way too often since they got rid of the native Mac version.
