A company that has thousands of people driving for them and can't be reached by phone.... Nor you will get anyone calling you back in case you have a problem with them. Their customer service (calling it that is a pure euphemism) is basically a chat where their worthless personnel is trained to get you in a loop-hole and answering questions with completely unrelated answers. If you are wondering about their wages, wonder no more: You are getting a 3rd of what a rider pays, and on top of that Lyft lies about their wages as they aren't anywhere near the $20 an hour that they claim (and for which they have recently lost a law suit with the US government for False and untruthful advertising). Once you take out gas/electricity, time and effort out of the equation, your wage is realistically $4-5 dollars per hour. There is no doubt that this company operates thanks to the bribing of their corrupted political allies. Lyft is a criminal business as it actively promotes SLAVERY. Their core belief is Scamming, Slavery and abuse towards their own drivers in order to maximize gains. They do promote anxiety within their personnel as anxiety makes more productive slaves. They should be out of business and their executives in jail. Thats it. There you go. Most honest review you'll ever see about this scam operation called Lyft.

Glitchy map. I saw they charged a few passengers $28 but I only got paid $10 for the drive… Also the chat support team is clearly a bunch of foreigners who don’t speak English properly and can’t assist with anything, I’ve had multiple conversations with different chat agents and they spell words wrong, don’t answer questions and it’s like they don’t even understand what we’re discussing. Nothing gets resolved. I’ve been getting run around for a week. Most likely some random guys in India working as chat support agents. Other than that, I enjoy driving for Lyft overall. Even when going above and beyond and being friendly, 90% of people don’t tip though, especially the more melanated demographics…

In the eight months that I drove for lyft I put 20,000 miles in my car and made $17,000. I live in South Florida just giving you an idea what it’s like. I do not recommend this on even my worst enemy. There’s no way you can make a living with driving for Lyft. By the time you spend all the money and maintenance and fueling in the long run, you’re not making anything. If anything you’re making less than $15 an hour. And you’re spending more time on the road risking your car for nothing. The rideshare insurance is expensive and you end up driving in and dangerous neighborhoods half the time with unverified passengers so if anything happens, you don’t have their information on your phone, which I consider pretty dangerous. Lyft doesn’t care about its drivers. Being elite or platinum or gold or bronze or whatever doesn’t matter to them. They’re just a greedy company that takes at least 70% of the fare.

Just don’t risk your life for such little pay… compare ups driving pay to this is straight up not worth it. No paid days to call if sick or overtime. Regretting working full time trying to make it work wasted my life driving for such a horrible company… yes I am homeless the pay is that bad ! I slept in my car before /after rides.

You guys need to give us more than to freaking dollars when some cancel espically if we are at the location that is a big waste of time and gas what are we going to do with 2 dollar you guys gotta do better than that that’s disrespectful
  • Integration Horrible

Update while driving only to find Waze handles navigation. Great idea! Terrible integration. You control our screen taps, but now have to tap a completely different app to get directions for passenger destinations. If you can’t integrate it into one app, get rid of it. And stop asking us to tell you if there’s traffic. It’s distracting

The banned me for no reason and have zero regard for the law. I have drove for 5 years have 5000 plus trips and a 5 start rating I was banned since they declined my new vehicle inspection. The CEO and board members of this company are pathetic with their Harris banners run your business you clowns.

Why is hard to figure out who left stuff in my car. When I try to return for a fee claim no names come up on the previous Trips.
