Description

Bumble is a free dating app dedicated to helping singles find fun, meaningful, and kind connections. It’s the dating app where kindness is sexy, and where women come first, always. We champion respect and equality, and we don't just welcome, but we celebrate every orientation. So whether you're straight, gay, lesbian, trans, here to find love, here to find fun, here to find friends, or simply dating for the plot–creating new connections has never been easier. Our community is filled with millions of people across the globe who are ready to chat and meet new people, build genuine and meaningful connections, and maybe find that artsy, museum-loving, Scorpio they've been looking for. DATE, MEET NEW FRIENDS, AND NETWORK Our matchmaking technology is constantly evolving to create a fun, kind, and most importantly safe experience for you across all of our apps, including: Bumble Date: Where women make the first move. Women always come first on Bumble, we've rewritten the dating rules so that everyone can form meaningful relationships safely and respectfully. Bumble For Friends: Life is better with friends. Whether you're new to a city or hoping to expand your circle, Bumble For Friends is an easy way to make new friends. Bumble Bizz: Yep, you read that correctly. We have Bumble Bizz, too. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new exciting career opportunities. WOMEN COME FIRST, ALWAYS We believe a better world for women means a better world for everyone. So, for the most part, women get to make the first move around here. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond. So, don't let them be the one that got away. Send that message ASAP. DON'T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT “Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company) “Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired) “Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times) “Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard) “What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider) --- Like the best things in life, Bumble is free to download and use. But we do also offer optional subscription packages (Bumble Premium and Bumble Boost) and single or multiple-use paid services for which no subscription is required (including Spotlights and SuperSwipes). We offer weekly, monthly, 3 month, and 6 month subscriptions with varying discounts. The prices may vary per country and are subject to change without notice. Prices are clearly displayed in the app. * Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. * Your subscription will automatically renew itself, unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. * Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. * You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings in the iTunes Store. * If offered, if you choose to use our free trial, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that publication, where applicable * If you don’t choose to purchase Bumble Boost or Bumble Premium, you can simply continue using and enjoying Bumble for free. • Mental health crisis prevalent in profiles

Women acting like men and Men pretending to be women. So many single moms, so many who still have not realized the common denominator in why they can’t find happiness. The coping is hard in the profiles of being one nighted or moonlighting at a a Pirate traveling the world on many a men’s boats. Then enter the shaming language not only from these women but also the men getting the chop and donning clown make up. Majority of the women have become the men they wanted to be rescued by so don’t bother saving any of them, they are independent boss babes that can do bad all by themselves. Don’t use the apps just day game and be genuine in your approach you don’t need this inconvenience.
  • Unjustified and cruel ban: Boycott this app

I’ve used this app for almost a yea. It’s not without flaws but it definitely helped me meet girls because I’m very busy working. However, I was recently banned/blocked. This is the message they sent me: “ You've been blocked. We're committed to keeping Bumble safe, which means we have to enforce certain rules when our values are violated. Your account has been blocked because we've received several reports about your use of hate speech on our platform, which isn't tolerated.” I’ve never been accused of using hate speech. EVER in my whole life. Maybe I said something offensive that I wasn’t aware of? They haven’t even shown me what I said. I can take a guess tho since this action was taken shortly after one particular chat. A girl I talked to mentioned cats and dogs and we were talking about China (where she’s from) and how she was glad to be in the US. So I said, as a joke, something about cats and dogs being food there and made a joke face like this 🤪😜so she can tell I was just kidding. She wrote back something and then I wrote “it was a joke lol”. And then she removed me. I’m almost positive this is what got me banned. I haven’t heard back from customer service yet so I have no idea. Perhaps there is some racial or hidden meaning behind cats and dogs being eaten in China. Or maybe I was mistaken and they are in fact not eaten there? It’s simply something I heard before and understand to be true. It is a fact. I didn’t mean to imply a single negative vibe or disrespect towards her or her culture. She seemed to dislike China by how she talked because she said some bad things about it and came to US. Instead of warning me or contacting me, Bumble just banned me. Totally not justified. I have zero racial hate in my heart and honestly love everyone as long as they are open to receiving the love I have to offer. I’ve come across fake accounts on bumble as well who I’ve cursed out a few times and they’ve probably reported me ironically enough. For all I know, it could of just been an accumulation of fake accounts reporting me. I don’t know because Bumble has banned me without telling me what my offense was. A sentence without proof of a crime or having a defense of my own. I’m putting this publicly here because I’ve never felt so wronged and misjudged in my entire life and penalized for it. I’ve spent $300+ on this app and now it’s been taken away without proper justification. No one is perfect and perhaps I’ve made a mistake. I’m willing to learn if I’m simply told what the reasons were. However, Bumble has shunned me and has not responded to the messages I’ve written them. So that’s why I’m here. I felt truly heartbroken and extremely sad about this because I am a good person and not in the least racist(or a speaker of hate speech). I like to make people laugh and sometimes jokes get lost in translation. The girl I wrote to didn’t seem to know English very well and it seems like she thought I was laughing at her. I don’t know.. I wish I could take it back or explain to her but I can’t. And now I’m just banned and lost other potential love interest on my bumble account. I’m devastated and Bumble won’t acknowledge me or contact me. I had to share this experience for anyone using the app. NEVER make any cultural joke. Heck, never make ANY jokes. Because someone might misinterpret it and think you’re racist or speaking hate speech. That’s the message Bumble is sending me and it makes me sick to my stomach. I’m a good person, I know I am and you’ll NEVER take that away from me. I love Asians, blacks, whites, Spanish , gays, straights, trans, bi, and anything else that I don’t know of. As long as you’re a good person and don’t have ill will towards humans, I love you ❤️ . This is an attack on my free speech as an American and a human being, I will not stand for it. Bumble. You owe me an apology and a refund.
  • Premium will not save you

    By ebagooie
I’m convinced that premium is a placebo that lets you pretend to swipe right on people. I spent a couple hours swiping left and right on women until I ran out of options based on my filters. Absolutely zero matches or even likes. How is this possible?? Even on Holy, a much smaller dating pool, I’d get 1-4 likes a week.
  • Worst dating app ever!!

Unbelievable! Now after a month or two when they increased the price for premium to be able see who liked you (used to be included with premium price and not cost more) NOW they JUST increased price to be able use a super like. It used to be you could get 5 super likes for $10 and now it’s $20 and used to be 15 super likes for $20 and now it’s $40?! they doubled literally everything they are doing. Bumble is going to go bankrupt and be non existent I feel soon enough with how many users they are losing. They don’t even have real humans responding back to issues anymore.
  • Meh just another dating apps

Stats show mostly filled with dudes (70% men and 30% women) mostly not healthy or taking care of themselves. I personally just have it for the ego lately. Otherwise, it’s a waste of time.
  • Terrible

The app is terrible. It does not show you your preferences. Rather it has you pay to do things and it's algorithm will keep you from actually finding someone therefore keeping you on the app so they continue to gain money. It's ridiculous.

Unless you pay which I won’t you can’t see who likes you or message. This like communist Russia. Don’t waste your time. Worse than Grindr.
  • Scam.

Signed up for one off subscription… ended up getting billed three extra time to the tune of $120. Zero support from Apple. Didn’t even get the promised special features.
  • Misleading notifications

    1
    By FreddyCougar
Several times now, I’ve received notifications saying that I had a match, only to open the app and find nothing. The app will also find reasons to send notifications when nobody has engaged with my profile. “Your Spotlight was a success” is not a message that I should be getting if nobody Liked my profile. I’m not here to blame the app for my apparent undesirability, but I do find significant fault in it for repeatedly setting me up for disappointment. This cannot be good for the mental health of its users. Looking at recent reviews, it seems that I am right. People are not satisfied with the current direction of Bumble.
