  • Why does this app get so much hate?

I’ve been meaning to download this for a while. But all the reviews are so bad, that I kept putting it off. Finally I just did it. And idk why all the hate! I just wanted to do the free version to find some friends. You get to create a profile. Yes you have to pick from some premade choices, but there is a part where you can write whatever you want! Then you have to swipe. I thought, okay, maybe they are super limited. But I kept swiping and swiping and swiping! You get a lot for free! And then I thought, maybe the chat is limited. But no, you can chat as much as you like as well. Idk why people are so negative. I meant some nice people off of here. It did everything it said it would, for free. I’m pleased.

what’s the point of having a free app if you’re gonna be telling your users to upgrade to see who even liked you back? i just got the notification that someone liked and wanted to reach out to me - now i have to give you money to see who these people are? this is honestly embarrassing and just money grabs over something so simple when i just want to connect with other people like me. and here i thought that this app would be a great way to connect with others. pretty disappointed.
  • Scam IRL

This app uses its users to collect data then used against you. There is no way my app should be full of scams and not be able to use the app accordingly. The app then proceeds to take and scam your money and then logs you out of your account. The app is already over priced so if I’m spending money on the app I should continue to be able to use it. I am a good paying loyal user period. This is wrong on so many levels as you look to see why people are no longer on the app. My messages shouldn’t disappear and I shouldn’t be able to not ever be able to verify my email. No reason also to have to verify with my ID as that information shouldn’t be disclosed. 100% scam. I shouldn’t have to add extra data to my phone and download an additional app as well. I have no room for other data at this time on my iPhone. This is not apple friendly. This app needs to be investigated and under serious investigations. Also my messages shouldn’t be sending automatically or fraudulently being sent without my permission. The rules and guidelines I’ve read and it says nothing about agreeing to sending multiple messages to guys in one day. Shame on Bumble. This is the biggest scam company trying to be franchise app I’ve had ever come across. Unfortunately this bumble “friends” app will still be able to scam innocent friendly users again and again. The vision is to take as much money as they can and I simple won’t stand for it no longer. I advise you to get my account in good standing or I’m afraid this company will fall. I just can’t support a type of business that’s going to sit here and stand for absolutely nothing. Zero care for actually making meaningful connections and want to blame that on money. You will find to add an extra bills to your monthly or yearly bills and bumble will have done nothing for you but drain your pockets and have nothing to show for anything they claim to be promoting at the logo above. They waste your time and they don’t care about their users and just want to abuse you. Why would anyone claim and want to continue on using such a chaotic messy app. It seems this app will never get it together. I had such high hopes for bumble and I’m so ashamed of even being on this app that I’m scared to share anymore plain information on other apps. I feel as though my rights are taken away and I’m stripped to $0 in my bank account while no one is actually finding real connections. Do better or don’t do it all. Best of luck to finding additional loyal users because you’ve lost the best in the market. Sell better for masses that actually want to make friends or redesign the entire app like Instagram be serious this time too.

Absolutely horrific. For anyone with genuine intention to meet and build something with someone, don’t bother here. This app used the be worthwhile, no longer the case.

Bumble advertises a 7-day free trial for Bumble BFF, but what they don’t tell you up front is that you actually have to cancel 48 hours early or you’ll be charged. That means it’s not really a 7-day trial—it’s a 5-day trial with fine print attached. I canceled before the 7 days were up—as any reasonable person would think is required—but was still charged. If a company claims I’ll be charged on Day 7, then charges me on Day 5, that’s deceptive billing—not a technical glitch. It’s not about the $7.99. It’s about a platform that’s comfortable misleading its users. If I don’t get a refund, I will file a report with the FTC and I strongly urge other users to do the same.

If you let this leadership run a country, they may making it difficult or ask you to pay just to look at a person from a different gender. Apps like these probably shouldn’t exist.

When inputting a number it never sends an sms code and you can’t create an account without verifying your phone number. Unfortunately due to this bug I was not able to use this app.
  • Can’t see my matches

I’m not sure I understand how this app works or why anyone would promote it. I followed the instructions, set up my profile and I can see I have 15 people who have liked me. But I have to pay $3.50 to see who liked my profile? And once that week is up my matches will just be locked behind a paywall again. I thought this was supposed to be a free app to meet friends, feels very slimy and quite honestly I’m very disappointed. If someone on the team would like to reach out and explain that I’m wrong, I’m happy welcome their thoughts but if you don’t have to waste your time, don’t download this app.
