Get things done! The award-winning Things app helps you plan your day, manage your projects, and make real progress toward your goals. Best of all, it’s easy to use. Within the hour, you’ll have everything off your mind and neatly organized—from routine tasks to your biggest life goals—and you can start focusing on what matters today. “Things offers the best combination of design and functionality of any app we tested, with nearly all the features of other power user applications and a delightful interface that never gets in the way of your work.” —Wirecutter, The New York Times KEY FEATURES • Your To-Dos Your basic building block is the almighty To-Do—each a small step toward a great accomplishment. You can add notes, tag it, schedule it, and break it down into smaller steps. • Your Projects Create a Project for any big goal, then add the to-dos to reach it. Use headings to structure your list as you outline your plan. There’s also a place to jot down your notes, and a deadline to keep you on schedule. • Your Areas Create an Area for each sphere of your life, such as Work, Family, Finance, and so on. This keeps everything neatly organized, and helps you see the big picture as you set your plans in motion. • Your Plan Everything on your schedule is neatly laid out in the Today and Upcoming lists, which show your to-dos and calendar events. Each morning, see what you planned for Today and decide what you want to do. The rest is down to you :) MORE THINGS TO LOVE As you dive deeper, you’ll find Things packed with helpful features. Here are just a few: • Reminders — set a time and Things will remind you. • Repeaters — automatically repeat to-dos on a schedule you set. • This Evening — a special place for your evening plans. • Calendar integration — see your events and to-dos together. • Tags — categorize your to-dos and quickly filter lists. • Quick Entry — create to-dos from anywhere, as soon as the thought hits you. • Quick Find — instantly locate to-dos, headings, or tags. • Type Travel — jump from list to list with your keyboard; just start typing! • Widgets — see your lists on the desktop or in Notification Center. • Mail to Things — forward an email to Things; now it’s a to-do. • Markdown — structure & style your notes. • And much more! MADE FOR MAC Things is tailored to the Mac with deep system integrations as well. A great example is Quick Entry with Autofill: a shortcut that grabs content from other apps and adds it to Things for you, such as a link to a website or an email you want to get back to. You can also enjoy a beautiful dark mode at sunset, connect your calendars, open multiple windows, add a variety of widgets, import from Reminders—Things can do it all! There’s even Shortcuts integration if you want to automate your workflows. STAY PRODUCTIVE ON THE GO Things also has full-featured apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro (sold separately). All your devices sync seamlessly via our free Things Cloud service. It’s great to have everything at your fingertips when you need it! AWARD-WINNING DESIGN Made in Stuttgart, with two Apple Design Awards to its name, Things is a fine example of German engineering: designed not only to look fantastic, but to be perfectly functional as well. Things 3 is overall easy to use. UI looks good. It is quick to add a to-do anytime by press control + space. However, there is one thing that could be better — Things 3 should have a month view for all to-dos. For me, I would like to see how my schedule goes through out the whole month. It is sad that Things 3 does not have this function.

I could not live without this app. I have been using it for years. The Things Helper is incredible. Works amazing across devices. I've tried to switch to other apps and I keep coming back to Things. It's that reliable.

I’ve used this app for a long time across all of my apple devices. The UI is fantastic, the simplicity is great, it is almost perfect for me. The only real issue I have is you cannot share projects with other users.
  • Best App

I believe this is one of the best to-do list applications that exists. I like that there aren’t constant updates adding new things. I used to use TickTick, and they just kept adding and adding until it had way too much going on, so I stopped. Things 3 is something I’ve had for years and keep coming back to. No subscription, proven track record, etc. It’s “THE” to-do list IMO.
  • This Is Absolutely Incredible. 11/10

Things 3 is one of the few apps I have used on a consistent basis for 1.5 or so years now. The app is one of the best-looking apps I have seen, by far. The design is amazing, and I have considered leaving Things 3 before, except every single time, the design and the intuitive nature always leave me on Things 3. This app was made by top-notch graphic designers who made an app that not only looks incredible, but every single feature works incredibly, incredibly well for how it should intuitively work. The structure, albeit, a little forced, is still logical in every way, based on my opinion. Granted, I have been on-and-off for periods for 2 months or so. However, the app is made masterfully, the design incredibly, and the app is definitely spectacular. The 1 issue, would be 1, and this is the only thing, the pricing is high. However, the app is pay-once, no subscription, however, it does also require paying for other platforms. If there is a deal or anything, then this is something to definitely consider. The prices are definitely high, but if I am rating the product, and not the price, then yes, 11/10. With the price, that is something that seems far too high for a productivity app. If it was pay once for all services, at $50, that would be much more reasonable than paying for most services. This is honestly incredible.

I have been using this app for a few years now, and have never encountered an app that works so flawlessly, gets really thoughtful updates, and is so beautiful. When there is a major Apple software update, the first place I check for integrations with the new features is Things 3, and they never disappoint: brand-new integrations with Apple features, zero bugs, and thoughtful implementation have awaited me each time.

Incredible app that could be perfect if it added a couple of features 1. Allowing for monthly calendar view 2. More integration to allow for a wider variety of attachments like, locations pdfs, excels, ppt, links, images and google files. 3. Add checklist counter to “to do’s” Besides that an incredible app that is a must for everyone.

I have been using Things since 2010 and while I have dabbled with other task management apps along the way, NONE OF THEM have been able to top Things in design, functionality, and did I say design? I mean top notch amazing user experience design! I use Things every single day, multiple times per day, and it truly helps me to get the things done in my life that need doing. I love Cultured Code and adore Things and will continue supporting and using this amazing app to the day I die. Thank you to the devs for this insanely great app! PS. And you guys know me well, I’m the one who keeps you on your toes on twitter…er um I mean X. LOL!
  • No End-to-End Encryption

In this age of privacy, where even data mining tech companies have provided their users with end-to-end encryption, Cultured Code prevents their users the choice to use Apple’s End-to-End encrypted sync service, and forces users to either use their app locally and offline, or to use their private, not third party verified to my knowledge, sync service, where they hold the keys to my very personal data.
