  • Not worth it

There’s an ad after literally every level, which is just completely ridiculous.
  • Lost Progress (Infuriating)

Used to love this game, and I still would if I could play the game and keep my progress. After several attempts, my progress kept being lost, and I was sent back to a random previous level. Clean it up!

Game is okay, glitches and funks here and there but why can’t i play my music while on the app. In Game music is horrible and being forced to listen to that or play in silence is annoying.

Butchered version of a classic. Not a single new game mechanic makes the game enjoyable in anyway, it in fact makes it painfully obvious they only want you to to spend money on it. I’ve given this app a couple chances but every time I do, the same thing is made clear each time, either not a single competent hand was used in the creation of this game, or they were forced to make the pile of stink it is on purpose. Either way (unsurprisingly) EA ruined something beloved by multiple people. Weird that this is one of the only apps I’ve seen where it’s less than 3 stars and the developers appear to refuse to acknowledge these reviews at all.

The game is fun however every time I get back on it’s always puts me back at level four or whatever it wants and I hate it.it needs to be fixed
  • Far too many glitches

I realize at this point with how old this game is they are done with updates. However, there are SO many glitches in this game that render it, AT THE VERY BEST, frustrating to play. I’ve been playing every day for the greater part of a year. I do love peggle, I’ve loved watching the computer version since I was little. I want to like this game; an accessible fun spin on the peggle games. But oh my god, there are parts of this game that are so incredibly upsetting. Of course, there are the ads. Finished a level? Ad. Failed a level? Ad. Starting a level? Ad. The pacing of this game is also horrendous. I would expect the game, similar to a game like candy crush, to just continually ease into harder and harder levels. That is not at all the case here. There are days where I will beat 10 levels with ease. There are weeks I will spend on one level. This has been the case for the entirety of the game. Now, this could be ok. I’m not complaining that the game is ‘too hard.’ In fact, I think without the hard levels the game would be boring. My frustration has to do with the glitches and the randomness of the game. Two levels/parts immediately come to mind. Level 105. OH LORD DONT GET ME STARTED. This level, like the rest in this section, randomizes the power ups your ball gets. Fine. The way these levels are designed, however, only makes one of the power ups really viable to comfortably beat the level (without a paid-for powerup). Meaning, your ability to beat the level is mostly up to chance. Again, fine. IF THERE WERENT THREE PARTS TO THE LEVEL. Sure, one of those parts is a battle which are typically extremely easy, as the ai is not exactly good. But those first two parts? I don’t even want to know how many tries it took to beat. The last thing I wanna focus on, the glitches in the section 121-135. These levels really should be very easy. I don’t know if it’s a compatibility issue with my phone update, or if the original programming of the game was really never fully there, but the power up in this section is downright unusable. 90% of the time my taps/drags are not registered, meaning I miss my opportunity to use the powerup. Again, the levels are easy enough to where it’s usually a minor inconvenience more than anything, but there are times (the boss battle especially) where it costs me time and lives. Fun game, but holy is there a ton of un-needed frustration.

You cannot make a Peggle game without Ode to Joy. That’s just criminal
  • Unfair game design

My dad told me he used to play this game, and when I tried it the first time it was good then I forgot about it. About a year later I think, I tried it again, but when I got to level 29, it just made it super unfair. Plus the wait time for lives is horrendous. You’re telling me I have to wait 30 minutes for 1 live? Overall, not that good of a game

I’ve won multiple levels just for the game to set me back however far it decides it wants to set me back. I love this game the nostalgia is great but it’s 2 steps forward 1 step back 😔
  • Way too many ads!

This use to be a fun and enjoyable game. Now it’s just a bombardment if ads it makes the game an annoyance to play anything more than a level. Use airplane mode to avoid this.
