I love to visit Cemeteries, especially where my parents are located in East Texas in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hwy 323, New London, Texas. The Thompson/Barber Families are apart of the Families who were affected by the New London School natural gas Explosion in 1937. (There is a Tribute Online.) Hwy 42 exit off I-20 is the Route I drive whether traveling to or from Dallas, Texas.

Thank you for remembering Ester with a headstone. We lived next door to her when I was a kid in San Mateo, many fond memories of her with her chiauau sugar. She moved after her her husband was unfaithful and went to be with the new girlfriend, broke poor Ester’s heart. XOXOXOThe Whitmore’s

I always love searching for my loved ones and I’m happy with the app because I love that app because I love searching for my dad’s great grandpa, Glen Edwin Vanderpool (1916-1998), and I love searching for my grandma, Terrie Jean Esposito (1960-2020), and I love searching for the oldest one in my family, Daniel Wynant Vanderpool (1816-1850), and my second oldest one, Tabitha Vanderpool (1817-1850). That is how I love the app!!!!!! FIND A GRAVE LOGGED ME OUT WHEN I WAS BEING A MEMBER OF IT HOW SUSSY BACA RUDE I ACCIDENTALLY SIGNED OUT WHEN BECOMING A MEMBER

Once upon a time, the site and this app had great potential. Big business has changed that. It is now become a battleground for managers, collecting memorials and refusing to make corrections, additions, or transfers to family members. Not sure why anybody would want to collect a memorial for a deceased member of somebody’s family instead of passing it on to the family member. So much misinformation on the site as a result.
  • The lost ones

There are people who have walked this earth and have passed with no grave stone or cremated remains in a specific location. Will there be an opportunity to list these people with loved ones with their family on this application? I have two examples; one is an indigenous person buried on sacred land not marked for individuals but for community. Another is a person who wished his ashes be scattered in a park that he loved, again no marker, no registry and most likely against the law but your app would show the connection to the past with us in the present.

Simple information entry. Easy to add pictures. Straight forward controls to rotate and crop photos. Would like better messaging to requests when the request can’t be fulfilled, such as when there is no tombstone to photograph.

I’ve been using this a lot for years to find people I know and read through obituaries and photos. It’s a huge cemetery online. Amazing idea.

Why do you not have a share symbol on each page as well as the home page of a member?
  • Let me add flowers please!

I like the app overall. Sometimes it can be a bit clunky with the search. It will say a grave isn’t in the cemetery then when I go to add it then it will pop up with a duplicate even though I just searched and there was none. Other than that. It’s very easy to use, I find it quicker than using in safari. But please developers, let me add flowers to memorials on the app! It’s annoying going to a browser to do so. Thnx for all you do.

The app is overall pretty good and very useful for on the go and for quick searches and easy to just pull up and look at stuff however I do think there need to be some features that the website has for example being able to directly message not only other members but memorial holders and others I would also love to see being able to add flowers on the app and so much more. I would love to see these features added to the app that would make it a five star but overall it is very great for starting out in genealogy, especially with your resources being limited.
