  • Destroys transactions

    Every time I think I should give the Quicken app a try again, I end up losing a weekend recovering all the transactions it destroys after syncing. And the worst thing is it’s not clear until you look closely that it loses split info on loan payments. Worst app I’ve ever used.

  • Mac Functionality Sorely Lacking

    You can’t even edit recurring transactions in Quicken Classic Premiere for Mac! If I want to change the amount or date, I was told by support I would have to delete it and start from scratch. Don’t think I’d have tried quicken from Mac again (this is my second time giving it a try) if I had known that such basic functionality like that was still not up to par.

    Used to use this with no problems. Now it’s caused me to overdraw my account twice because it keeps changing my balances when I log in. It’s also messed up previous reconciliations. More of a pain than a help now. Skip the download and find something better

    This is the second time that I lost all my recent data updates after opening the Windows Quicken after an update. This app puts all the data in the Cloud. In the Windows App, you need to perform a Cloud Sync. This is the second time that after this cloud sync it pushed OLD data into the cloud and deleted all the recent GOOD data. Since there is no Cloud backup, I’m left with having to re-enter all my recent data. If you are using both this app and Windows, look for an alternative product since the QA on this product is poor and you will loss data.

    Since some update in October anytime I add a transaction the desktop version thinks there’s a newer file out there and overwrites it, effectively removing anything I added in the mobile app. This worked fine before. In addition when I sync the desktop version then open the mobile app, there are two of each account completely duplicated. I can’t believe this made it through whatever quality controls exist, if any. I can’t believe that this hasn’t been fixed by now either. I’m about to switch products over this and have been a decades long customer.

    When the mobile app first came out I absolutely loved it and it’s been working great for years. For instance, if I’m at the gas pump, I can enter that charge on my app, then sync it to my desktop. Recently it’s been taking so long to sync because it replaces all of my data. The app and the desktop don’t match, and sometimes the app has a duplicate version of each account. As a result, I don’t trust the ap. PLEASE FIX THIS so I can return to the convenience I loved.
  • Deleting App Again

    I have tried this several times over the years for for some reason they just can’t get this app right. This round when I log in only see 3 or 4 transactions when I click on an account and it will not refresh without deleting the app and re-installing. Even then I only see about half my transactions. I don’t know why Quicken can’t get this app right.
  • Constantly creating errors

    It would be nice if it would actually sync with my data file on my home computer. Constant gives error that I’m trying to sync to an older version file. Reset cloud data many times and it just keeps coming back. Probably time to switch to the Every Dollar app. Quicken has gotten too expensive and continues to have software issues that take up too much of my time.
