  • Nice but needs work

    The recordings are clear and the interface is nice but in my experience the metronome is really buggy. Sometimes it comes through in the recordings directly (it’s not the headphones I’ve removed them when testing) This forces me to close the app and reopen it which sometimes solves the issue and sometimes prevents the metronome from being audible at all. This makes the app go from real tool to just a toy. Happy to trouble shoot with dev if needed.

    Fender Studio is great! the Fender amps and effects sound amazing, the vocal effects are fun and the app is super easy to use. Love it!

    I have been a pro audio guy and guitarist for a long long time. I grew up with analog tape, made an early conversion to ProTools, engineered tons of albums. I now use Logic X and Reaper on my Macs. The ability to mess with the backing tracks is a plus. This could function as a software amp emulator nicely even without the recording/editing. Yes, the processing is a little limited but covers most needs. If they included access to AU or VST plugs then this would be a total game changer. Even as it is, especially for FREE, it is amazing. Thank you Fender!

    I get free fender amp and pedal sounds for free?! In an easy to use format no less. Very straightforward with more features on tap if you dig just a little. A++++

  • First Version Has Some Kinks

    The app seems to work at the beginning when I connect my iPhone to the a Volt 276 it would let me record, but then it’ll the app keeps going to the background. I have to exit and restart the program to be able to edit…. Nice try… I know that this problem and is solvable.

    Current version for Mac does not support Sign in with Apple. iPad and iPhone app support it.

    Better than I would have expected for a version 1.0. The defaults are better than average and the free amp and effects are well done, includes a good selection and are all usable as well. I like the ease of use. I did spend a minute looking for input monitoring, as I am used to a real daw and was looking for it on each track and not one setting at the top of the tracks. Other than that it was smooth sailing. I like that Jam tracks are actual tracks too. Overall a very positive experience for a free app. Tip. Make an account at Fender Connect and then log into the app with that account and you will receive more amps and effects. With those added models, I didn’t feel like anything was lacking.
