I absolutely love this app. It is by far the easiest of all the Amps with Bluetooth app compatibility. It has the best way to stack pedals and amps the way you want. But the app is stuck in landscape mode!!! I know to some that’s not a huge deal breaker. But for some reason it bothers me. I think it would be easy to move to portrait if the developers made it. Also the sound cloud is a little not user friendly. But over all great app.

This app just straight up doesn’t work. Try connecting to your amp… nothing. I am literally Bluetooth connected and can play backing tracks but that’s it. Also when the Bluetooth is on my sound gets super compressed if I have my guitar volume over halfway. Plz fix

I love the amp and presets, just hot it. Can't find wifi in the app to set up and the password at my air Bnb is to long to put in the amp, it won't allow enough characters. Sure would love to find the wifi setting in settings in the tone app, but it's not there.

Good app but unfortunately after some updates, the app no longer works with the fender mustang lt40s

The App gives good access to amps and pedals. It makes it easy to configure and use your amp. A major issue is with the app itself. It only works in landscape mode on the iPhone, isn’t available for download/use on apple silicone Macs… those two things make this app almost unusable in my workflow…. Being able to hold my phone normally and use the app and not importantly being able to use it on my Mac would be the most ideal situation. It’s literally one compilation flag to enable Mac compatibility, sad…
  • Flexible tones, terrible UI

I’ve just come to this app with my GTX100 as well as using the micro plus. I love the interactive ability to customize the signal chain and create different tones - lots of great options. However, the interface has some highly questionable/irritating design choices. As has been mentioned many times by others, the landscape mode-only on phones is terrible. A key value with an app like this is ability to grab your phone and make quick adjustments one-handed - not realistic with this mode. Cannot rename tones in the app… Cannot reorder tones in the app… Maybe I’m missing how to do some of the above, but even today searching on fender’s site it shows how to reorder tones, but only demonstrates on an older version of the app with options that are not present in the current 4.07 version. It’s really a shame - these are such basic things that significantly detract from the usefulness of the app.

The app mostly works for what it’s meant for, configuring presets. And it is definitely better than configuring directly on the amp. But there are some things I don’t love. And honestly I’m a bit salty that I can’t control my GTX 100 from my computer instead of a phone app… The app forces landscape mode so it’s a pain to navigate with one hand. When searching presets you can only see two at a time, there is so much wasted space on the screen. And you have to keep hitting “more” after a few presets, which is right where the little drag bar at the bottom of the screen is to go home so I constantly keep closing the app. Stuff like dragging the scroll bar to quickly go to the end of the list doesn’t work so instead you have to go scroll through all the presets to move around. I don’t see any way to search cloud presets and sort by likes, by date uploaded, number of downloads, etc. When the tuner is open it should show up on the app. It’s useless to allow _opening_ the tuner from the app, but still have to walk over to the amp to see it.
