You can’t create a new game, you can only join a server made by a paying user.

This makes Ticket to Ride so fun to play! Worked great for our 4 player game. Our only complaint is that the game doesn’t remember all of the player data when starting a new game.

Just finished a 4 player game with mix of android and iOS companion devices. Works great.

Make sure everyone is on the same WiFi. If it doesn’t work just have everyone close down the app and reopen and reconnect. One of the phones will need to be a “hub” so we used an iPad for that and then we played on our phones. We also screen shared on our tv so everyone playing could see what the score was for everyone and who was up. We had a blast!

Tried to use to play with my dad and it won’t work. Terrible app and a waste of $5. Skip the pain. Skip the headache. Save your money.

It worked fine with two players. Does not work with 4 players for whatever reason.
  • Good idea, needs work

Add support for Apple TV. To use that as the “display” so that I don’t have to switch apps on my phone to play. Just an idea. Open app on the Apple TV. And set it up there with the QR code and the game number. Would definitely enhance the experience.
  • Why break something that worked fine?

The local play on the old ticket to ride app was all within the main app and worked perfectly. After 10 minutes of messing around with the local play code number, we were able to play a round but then it prompts you to look at the main screen for the score. What main screen? In order to get local multiplayer to work we both had to join in the companion app using the invite code. Just go back to the old app’s local play code, please.
  • Good idea, bad execution

After spending 30 minutes trying to line up a simple 1v1 local game, we gave up. The game will set up but does not give you the option to play the person you connected to. We had to enter an AI player and the person hosting could not play. Very frustrating.
