Even though I wasn’t able to import my stuff from the old game due to my own user error, it’s super cool that there was a way for most people to do so. I’m finding it easy to rebuild in the legacy version of the game since the premium currency is pretty easy to earn. My only complaint is that the social currency is impossible to get without QR code nonsense. I’d rather not be forced into a social component in an offline game. But this is a small thing that I can ignore.

This game is amazing but I have one major problem. So basically I have started playing this game on my phone, which is animal crossing complete. I transferred my saved data from there onto the new game. Nothing bad on my phone. But then after maybe a week of playing, I get it on my tablet aswell. And my progress from that week is gone?? I am now back on level 92. On my phone I am on level 100. Nintendo how can I transfer my data in my phone AND my IPad?? Please help,p a girl out.
  • Disappointing substitute, rarely works and regularly looses current status

Disappointing substitute, rarely works and regularly looses current status causing you to have to repeat tasks that were previously completed. Better than the 1st pocket version, but still not up to Nintendo/Animal Crossing Standards. $10 wasted.
  • More cabin decor item space pls!

The limit is 68 items, but with the new addition of custom design tiles I have added rugs to the rooms. But each rug is made up of 1x1 custom floor designs. Therefore these rugs take up 15-30 items in a room (If someone wanted an entire custom design floor it would be 96 items btw!). If the limit could be increased to 80-100 it would be enough for me personally, and it’d be greatly appreciated 🫶🏻. But if it could be more than 100 thatd be amazing :). Everything else about this game is great! Worth the 10$ for me. And so much easier to get quality items compared to the old version of the game.
  • Not Fun Anymore

After playing the new game for a couple of weeks, I see there’s a lot of differences and some not good. I agree with others that the game isn’t as much fun with no interaction with other players. There's no real connection at all. No incentive to fix up your camp. I always loved the garden aspect of this game. But you can't even share anything with anyone else. It's on autopilot. We can't visit each other. There's no one to visit. Who wants to walk around alone, and find people standing in a group at "Whistle Pass" who do nothing except help us with Shovelstrike Quarry? And there's no classes or challenges for the HH Rank anymore. Honestly, there's not really anything to be gained from playing this game, like before. It feels empty and boring, just like others have said. I really would like to get my money back, but I'm sure that's not going to happen. I don't like playing it anymore. 🫤
  • Same Game But Less

While I love not having to worry about micro transactions anymore, this really is just the same game as the OG pocket camp, so keep that in mind. Except now there’s no multiplayer. I wish they would at least let us update our camper cards to our friends or something, but it’s all offline leaving the game very barren. There’s also awkward empty spaces where other players’ camper vans used to be. Completely leaving out multiplayer took away a huge aspect of the game. I’ll still play it because I love animal crossing, but I wouldn’t suggest this game to a new player just coming into the series.
  • Long time fan a little disappointed

I’ve been playing this game for 5 years and was very sad to hear it was ending. Thankfully they decided to come out with a new version but I really feel incomplete since they took away interactions with friends… we already had such limited interactions and I really looked forward to gifting and visiting other camp sites everyday. It almost defeats the purpose of continuing the game and adding to our campsites if we can’t show it off. Not to mention my long time friends can now only see a selfie that I can update.
  • Love everything about this, except…

I love everything about the updated game, except the fact that it doesn’t back up automatically to my Nintendo account or some other cloud location. I really don’t like it to be tied to one device, both because I’d like to be able to open it on my phone and my tablet without having to go through the manual backup process, and also because I worry that a failure/loss of my phone would remove so much game progress. And the manual backups only last 7 days, so that could easily disappear if I don’t do it regularly.

All in all, fantastic. But id like it to be online again. I miss my friends and I miss the connection and community that animal crossing is always about.

I got this game with a lot of expectations and they were all met! These are my SUGGESTIONS. I think that crafting should be more like new horizons in that you don’t have to wait for items to be crafted, that would be SO much easier. I also think that there should at least be a place where you can chat with others. Fun no matter what tho!
