I currently have a premium subscription on my account but a pop up shows up saying I need to upgrade? I’ve been ad-free for over a year now…

I get to play a game boy color styled game of Hime going on an adventure? I love it! I’ve subscribed to Cruchroll for many years now and very much enjoy the content provided. I don’t know why someone would want to play an anime themed game about Cruchyroll’s mascot if their not even a fan that subscribes. Technological issues I would understand but all these one star reviews are complaining about a subscription to Crunchyroll they would have to pay for monthly. It’s a fun loving little game and I’m all here for it. I’m grateful to the work and thought put into these games and I hope to see more in the soon future. Love you Crunchyroll! Keep up the hard work fam <3

The gameplay and stuff is great but has some minor issues. There’s a noticeable audio delay when switching between zones. Also when I turned off my phone and came back later, the audio stoped working entirely. My phone is a IPhone 11 64-gigabyte model, if that helps any

I’ve always sucked at leaving reviews but I really like the retro style of it but the controls are kinda weird in my opinion

The reviews from people who stated they havent played yet should be removed no? Does apple not want things like this to be avoided?
  • You can play it on GB emulator

The game looks like fun, but I’m not subscribing to your platform to play it. You should really rethink this setup. You’d probably make a lot more money if the game was available outside of forced subscription
  • We should just be able to buy this

As title says, I just want to buy this game. The fact you have it only tied to your Crunchyroll subscription is frustrating to say the least. Whenever I get your service again, I’ll update review with gameplay but still, how doesn’t this hurt the game?
