    The monitor keeps going off when the phone isn’t open. The WiFi connects only when you’re a couple of feet away from the router. Here is a technology that simply doesn’t work. Would highly NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

    We’ve come to rely on the sound and light. After a firmware upgrade on the device a few days ago, the app has become very unreliable: it can get stuck trying to connect; it has increased the light level when I tried to dim it; it has failed to control the noise loudness. Since out baby’s sleep depends on it now, I wish that Nanit’s team would be a bit more ambitious in their quality control.

    Loved it-at first. Then it started malfunctioning. Got sent a new one. Now this one is malfunctioning too, in a different way. Pretty disappointed since it’s not cheap.

    We love our Nanit, but unfortunately, the audio function regularly stops. Despite regular system/app updates, it just doesn’t work. It requires a full factory reset to get it working again. This only lasts a couple weeks before needing to reset again. Pain in the neck.

    This app rarely connects. Always says there’s a connection issue. I have the Nanit camera in the same room and never have any connection issues. That app works great.

    Appreciate integration with camera, ability to set routines, & battery backup Wish the monitor was more reliable, wish the white noise didn’t have skip in it, and wish there were more sound options like the hatch

  • No support for sequential routines

    I want to have a “nap” followed by “wake up” for my toddler. If I set the “nap” to end at 1:30pm, and “wake up” to begin at 1:30pm, the app gives a warning about overlapping routines, and does not start “wake up”. If I make “nap” end at 1:29pm, there is no warning, but there is a 1-minute gap between the two routines. Neither of these behaviors makes sense, please fix this bug!

    This app doesn’t work unless you have it open, which means as soon as your phone locks or you use another app, you can’t hear your baby.

    Bought and have used it for 3 months since my baby was born. Love it. Only thing I wish we could connect Bluetooth to it to add more songs.
