Nanit

The app is absolutely horrible. It glitches and freezes every single time I open the app. I thought it was the camera at first but the app works perfectly fine on my husbands android. This is such a shame for such an expensive camera. Do not recommend. Looking into other cameras with better apps.

From the night time review videos, to the breathing band, to just catching cute sounds and laughter through the room, I absolutely love my Nanit! Even if my phone is locked or I’ve exited the app, I can still here every sound. They send you video montages of babies first time soothing themselves to sleep, longest they’ve slept through the night, and they even measure their growth! I’ve also learned to much from the helpful tips they send to your inbox frequently. All around 5 starts, would recommend to anyone!

Constantly freezes and no image will be displayed! It is not my WiFi cause the app on my phone works great. It is terrible cause I need my phone for other reasons and can not monitor my baby well on my laptop! I hope Nanit can let me know if there is a resolution.

It’s frustrating to spend a ton of money on a camera with numerous features, and then you can’t use them as the app constantly crashes. Called customer services yesterday and they said it would be fixed soon… still doesn’t work.

During the time my baby was little, it a relief to have this. By that time the free plan had a lot more to offer which made me feel the worth of obtaining the product. Now you can’t access footage pf that same day or know more info about the babies napping unless you pay the upgrades. I just think that by the price you pay for the camera and set up, it doesn’t compensate with what’s accessible now…

Great when it works but the app will quit completely during the night when we are sleeping. Using the latest version on iPad in split screen. Frustrating that I bought 2 Nanit cameras and an iPad and I can’t trust it as a primary or when traveling.

This is an absolute must for every child. The ability to watch your child anytime, from out to dinner or in another room, is amazing

A literal crutch

Beware. This app will murder your battery everyday. If you do not make sure to force quit the app, it will run your battery down to nothing in a matter of half a day. Check on your kid once in the morning? Dead battery by 3pm, even if you’ve used your phone for nothing else. Also the event video playback lags by like 5 minutes which is extremely annoying. Is the kid crying because they woke up and are just crying? Or are they crying because they pulled themselves up and fell and hit their head. Would be nice to know if I should let them self soothe or, ya know, grab them because they just brained themselves and won’t stop crying without parental assistance.

Absolutely love this monitor! We’ve been using it since day one and feel safe being able to see our child and know how much sleeps he is getting.
