We bought three of these for various parts of the house. It works well, but after 6 months the “sleep plan” basically stopped the nice video summaries and wants a subscription. It’s just a glorified webcam now, thanks Nanit.

This app is spyware. It runs in the background constantly listening. You can even hear the noises from the room the camera is in when the app is in the background, or even when the phone is locked. It’s a battery drain. Beware.

Review of Nanit Baby Monitor I recently tried the Nanit baby monitor and, unfortunately, have had a less than satisfactory experience. One of the main selling points of this product is its monitoring features, but I've found that they don't work about 50% of the time. This unreliability is a major issue. When you invest in a baby monitor, you expect it to function consistently, especially during crucial times when you need to keep an eye on your child's well-being. Furthermore, the information provided by the monitor is often inaccurate. The built-in thermometer, which is supposed to be a convenient feature, is particularly disappointing. It only reports a limited subset of temperatures and has proven to be off more often than not. There have been specific instances where the device failed drastically. For example, the video stream often goes down, leaving you blind to what is happening in the nursery. On multiple occasions, I found the video feed was completely unavailable when I needed it the most, such as during nap time or at night. Additionally, the recording feature seems defective, as it frequently fails to capture key moments that could be crucial for reviewing later. For a product designed to provide peace of mind to parents, this level of inaccuracy and unreliability is simply unacceptable. When it comes to the safety and monitoring of our children, there is no room for error, and unfortunately, Nanit falls short in delivering that assurance. I would strongly recommend against purchasing this app or product. There are other options on the market that will likely deliver a more reliable and accurate monitoring experience, which is crucial for any parent. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for your baby monitoring needs.

Ever since this new update the camera will not work, it just frequently loads and I have to constantly reset it for it to work for about an hour.

Nanit is great for tracking your baby’s activities, and the insights are great for finding themes and patterns. I like that multiple family member can get access to the app/camera view.

So reliable, great I’m able to keep an eye on baby from anywhere !

Can’t imagine not having this

Love seeing my kiddos on my phone whenever I want and being able to go back and view history! Been able to capture sweet moments and make sure our kiddos are getting good sleep. The temp feature is also crucial! Love love love

Love Nanit products! That camera surpasses my expectations. It catches almost everything and the things that it doesn’t catch (maybe it missed a low cry for example), you can always send up to their analytics team. They are always looking for ways to improve! I have never slept more confidently knowing I can trust Nanit with my baby’s life from newborn stage to 15 month and upward! So grateful we picked this camera system for our growing family!
